Robert Tyrell "T. J" Cummings Jr. [1] (born August 31, 1981 [2] ) is an American former basketball player. He is the son of former NBA player Terry Cummings and graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School. [3] Cummings played college basketball with the UCLA Bruins for four years. Upon graduation, he was drafted in the 2005 NBDL draft by the Albuquerque Thunderbirds in the 3rd round. In his rookie year, he averaged 12.6 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. On April 22, Albuquerque won the NBDL Championship against the Fort Worth Flyers 119–108.
In the 2006–2007 season, Cummings was waived by the Thunderbirds, but was signed by the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the minor league organization of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The league was founded in 2001 as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL), renamed the NBA Development League in 2005. It received its present name in 2017 under a deal with Gatorade, becoming the first U.S. professional sports league named for an advertiser.
Yuta Tabuse is a Japanese professional basketball player for Utsunomiya Brex of the B.League. A point guard, Tabuse is 1.75 metres and 75 kilograms (165 lb). He was the first Japanese-born player to appear in a National Basketball Association (NBA) game.
Michael Jerome Cooper is an American basketball coach and former player. He played for the Los Angeles Lakers during his entire career in the National Basketball Association, winning five NBA championships with the Lakers during their Showtime era. Regarded as one of the greatest defensive players of his generation, he was an eight-time selection to the NBA All-Defensive Team, including five times on the first team. He was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 1987. In 2024, it was announced that Cooper would be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Following his Hall of Fame announcement, it was announced on August 15, 2024 that Cooper would have his No. 21 retired by the Lakers on January 13, 2025.

Marcus Eugene Douthit is a Filipino-American former basketball player. He graduated from Providence College. After his stint with the Providence Friars, he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the 2004 NBA draft. Born in Syracuse, New York, he became a naturalized Filipino citizen on March 11, 2011, thus allowing him to play for the Philippines' men's national basketball team.

The NBA D-League is the official minor league basketball organization owned and run by the National Basketball Association (NBA). The league was formed in 2001 as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL). The league adopted the "NBA D-League" name in 2005 to reflect its close affiliation with the NBA. One expansion franchise, the Texas Legends, joined the 15 returning teams from the previous season.
