TEN Cricket International was a 24-hour sports channel dedicated to cricket. The channel was owned by Sony Pictures Networks. [1] TEN Cricket was launched on 10 August 2010. The channel had live broadcast rights of all international cricket held in Pakistan, Sharjah, Abu Dhabhi and Dubai. [2] The channel ceased broadcasting internationally on 31 March 2020. 2011 Cricket World Cup

The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup was the tenth Cricket World Cup. It was played in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. India won the tournament, defeating Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, thus becoming the first country to win the Cricket World Cup final on home soil. India's Yuvraj Singh was declared the man of the tournament. This was the first time in World Cup history that two Asian teams had appeared in the final. It was also the first time since the 1992 World Cup that the final match did not feature Australia.

The Sharjah Cricket Stadium is in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. It holds the record for the most number of ODIs hosted in a venue with 236 ODIs up to 19 February 2018. It was originally constructed in the early 1980s and has been much improved over the years. It hosted its first international matches in April 1984, in the Asia Cup.

The Dubai International Stadium, formerly known as the Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is mainly used for cricket and is one of three stadiums in the country, the other two being Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. It has a capacity of 25,000 spectators, but is expandable to 30,000 spectators. It is a part of the Dubai Sports City in Dubai. The architect of this project was the Canadian architect, Awsam Matloob.

The Tri-nation series in Zimbabwe in 2010 was the name of the One Day International cricket tournament in Zimbabwe that was between India, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwean boards expected better sponsorship offers with Indian cricket team involved. Sri Lanka won the series by beating Zimbabwe in the finals.

The Tri-nation series in Sri Lanka in 2010 was the One Day International cricket tournament in Sri Lanka that was held between India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand in the month of August 2010. All the matches were held in Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla.

The Indian cricket team toured Sri Lanka, playing three Test matches from 18 July to 7 August 2010.

Sony Max is an Indian pay television entertainment channel which is a sister channel to Sony Entertainment Television, operated by Sony Pictures Networks. The channel started broadcasting on 20 July 1999 and is available internationally. It launched a HD simulcast version on 25 December 2015.

2018 Asia Cup cricket tournament

The 2018 Asia Cup was a One-Day International (ODI) cricket tournament that was held in the United Arab Emirates in September 2018. It was the 14th edition of the Asia Cup and the third time the tournament was played in the United Arab Emirates, after the 1984 and 1995 tournaments. India were the defending champions, and retained their title, after beating Bangladesh by three wickets in the final.
