Jörg Roßkopf German table tennis player and coach

Jörg Roßkopf is a former professional German table tennis player who is currently the head coach of the German Men's National Table Tennis Team. As a player, he won the title in Men's Doubles at the 1989 World Table Tennis Championships and the silver medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, with Steffen Fetzner as his partner. In men's singles, he won the bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and the gold medal at the Table Tennis World Cup in 1998. As a coach, he was awarded the ITTF Star Coach award in 2017.

Table tennis at the Summer Olympics

Table tennis competition has been in the Summer Olympic Games since 1988, with singles and doubles events for men and women. Athletes from China have dominated the sport, winning a total of 60 medals in 37 events, including 32 out of a possible 37 gold medals, and only failing to win at least one medal in one event, the inaugural Men's Singles event at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

Jasna Rather born Jasna Fazlić, born December 20, 1970 in Foča, SFR Yugoslavia is former American table tennis player who played for Yugoslavia and then for United States, competing on four Olympics: in Seoul 1988 Summer Olympics, Barcelona 1992 Summer Olympics, Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics, and Athens 2004 Summer Olympics respectively.

Elena Timina Russian-Dutch table tennis player

Elena Timina is a Russian-born Dutch professional table tennis player. She was born in Moscow, Soviet Union.

Lü Lin is a Chinese table tennis player and Olympic champion. He uses a pen-grip topspin style, and is best known for the combination of him and Wang Tao in men's doubles championships.

Ni Xialian Luxembourgian table tennis player

Ni Xia Lian is a Chinese-born table tennis player who represents Luxembourg since 1991. She was born in Shanghai, and resides in Ettelbruck.

Damien Éloi French table tennis player

Damien Éloi is a French table tennis player. As of February 2013, Eloi is ranked no. 88 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). He is also right-handed, and uses the attacking grip and Tibhar 4S blade.

Dmitry Mazunov Russian table tennis player

Dmitry Vyacheslavovich Mazunov is a Russian table tennis player. He won a bronze medal, along with his brother Andrey Mazunov, in the men's doubles at the 1991 World Table Tennis Championships in Chiba, Japan, representing the Soviet Union. As of January 2010, Mazunov is ranked no. 105 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Mazunov is a member of TTF Liebherr Ochenhausen in Ochsenhausen, Germany, and is coached and trained by Mikhail Nosov. He is also right-handed, and uses the attacking grip.

Cheng I-ching Taiwanese table tennis player

Cheng I-ching is a Taiwanese table tennis player. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's singles event, in which she was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Li Xiaoxia, and as part of the Chinese Taipei team in the women's team event.

Sarah De Nutte Luxembourgian table tennis player

Sarah De Nutte is a professional Luxembourgish table tennis player and the most successful Luxembourgish table tennis player so far. She competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics and won the women's doubles bronze medal at the 2021 World Table Tennis Championships alongside Ni Xia Lian. Since 1995, she is the first and only native European woman to win a medal at the world table tennis championships in women's doubles. She currently plays for the top-flight club TT Saint-Quentin in the french first division. She is right-handed and plays with the shakehand grip style.
