The Chinese Professional Baseball League is the top-tier professional baseball league in Taiwan. The league was established in 1989 and played the first season in 1990. CPBL eventually absorbed the competing Taiwan Major League in 2003. As of the 2024 season, the CPBL consists of six organizations, all of which have teams in the main league and farm league.
Zhongshan Soccer Stadium, Chungshan Soccer Stadium, or Taipei Soccer Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was established in 1923 as Maruyama Stadium during the Japanese period. The soccer stadium was opened in 1989, it was reconstructed from the former site of Yuanshan Baseball Ground under the guidance of then Chinese Taipei Football Association President Chiang Wei-kuo. Although it was built as a soccer-specific stadium, it was mostly used for live concerts or other activities due to lack of professional football league in Taiwan. The stadium was able to hold 20,000 people for football games and 40,000 for concerts. It was managed by the Hope Foundation led by former athlete Chi Cheng.
The Taichung Baseball Field is a multi-purpose stadium in North District, Taichung, Taiwan. Built in 1935 during the Taiwan under Japanese rule era, this stadium has been repeatedly refurbished and currently can seat 8,500 people. This stadium has been the home of professional baseball teams such as Jungo Bears (1993–1995), Sinon Bears, Sinon Bulls(second half 1996–2012) of Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) and Taichung Agan(1997–2002) of Taiwan Major League (TML).
Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is a stadium in Beitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. The stadium officially opened on November 9, 2006, replacing the antiquated Taichung Baseball Field. Located on the corner of Chongde Road (崇德路) and Huanzhong Road (環中路), it has considerably more parking available than the old stadium.
The Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium located in Tianmu Sport Park in Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was built in 1999, and mostly hosts baseball games. Originally designed as a community ballpark, Tianmu Stadium is located in a rather high price residential neighborhood of Tianmu, resulting in many sound and light restrictions in regard to the usage of the stadium. Because of this, professional games are only held over the weekends.
The Chinese Taipei Baseball Association was established on February 28, 1973 to promote and develop baseball in Taiwan. The CTBA assists with hosting national and international baseball competitions to enhance the quality of Taiwanese baseball, and also to enhance the health of Taiwanese citizens, as well as promotes sportsmanship.
Kaohsiung Li De Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium in Cianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is mainly used for junior and amateur level baseball games, but also frequently hosts the minor league games of the Lamigo Monkeys, a professional baseball team based in Chengching Lake Baseball Field and also uses Li De Stadium as a secondary stadium.
The Taipei Municipal Baseball Stadium was a baseball park located in the Songshan District of Taipei, Taiwan. It was opened in 1959, and hosted numerous major baseball games over the years, including the CPBL's first game in 1990 between Uni-President Lions and Brother Elephants. During its professional years, the stadium was frequently taken as the home stadium of Brother Elephants, Wei Chuan Dragons, and Mercuries Tigers. It was closed and demolished in 2000. Its site is currently occupied by the Taipei Arena. Its role in professional baseball was filled by Tianmu Baseball Stadium across town and Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium in nearby Taipei County.
Hualien Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium located in Hualien City, Hualien County, Taiwan. Although it is relatively new compared to some other stadiums, its capacity and location do not allow frequent professional use, even though many baseball players came from this region.

The Chinese Taipei national baseball team is the national men's baseball team of Taiwan. It is governed by the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association. The team is ranked fourth in the world by the World Baseball Softball Confederation. The team is usually made up of professionals from Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League, Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball, and Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball from the United States.
Fu-Te Ni, nicknamed "Tudigong", is a former Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher for the CTBC Brothers of the Chinese Professional Baseball League. Ni was a professional baseball player from Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). After his franchise, the Chinatrust Whales, disbanded on November 11, 2008, he signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers in 2009. He has also previously played for the Fubon Guardians of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). He is currently the pitching coach for ANYO Fresh, an amateur team in Taiwan.
Chou Szu-chi is a Taiwanese professional baseball outfielders for the CTBC Brothers of Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). At the end of 2008, when the dmedia T-REX folded in a gambling scandal, he was picked by the Brother Elephants in the third round of the redistribution draft.
The Rakuten Taoyuan Baseball Stadium, originally known as Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium until Rakuten acquired the naming rights in 2022, is a multi-use stadium located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The stadium opened in 2009 and has a capacity of 20,000 spectators.
Hsinchu Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium in North District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It hosted occasional games for Taichung Agan and Taipei Gida in the defunct Taiwan Major League. The stadium is now the ball park for Wei Chuan Dragons of the Chinese Professional Baseball League.
Yang Dai-Kang is a Taiwanese professional baseball outfielder for the Oisix Niigata Albirex of the Eastern League. He has previously played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and Yomiuri Giants.

They have competed in the T1 League since the 2021–22 season, and play their home games at the Kaohsiung Arena. The Aquas became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season. And the Aquas became one of the seven teams of the inaugural TPBL season.
The Taoyuan Taiwan Beer Leopards are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in Taoyuan City. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2021–22 season, and play their home games at the Taoyuan Arena. The Leopards became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season. And the Leopards became one of the seven teams of the inaugural TPBL season.
The Popcorn League, also known as the Popcorn Baseball League, is a semi-professional baseball league based in Taiwan. Founded in 2014, the league started out as a summer independent league. After a hiatus from 2015 to 2016, it became a winter league starting in 2017.
