Talkhestan (Persian : تلخستان‎, also Romanized as Talkhestān)^[1] is a village in Nadushan Rural District, Khezrabad District, Saduq County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Nadushan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Ashkezar County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,048, in 360 households. The rural district has 11 villages. Later national census in 2011, indicated that its population was 1,372 people residing in 450 households.

Khezrabad District is a district (bakhsh) in Ashkezar County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,872, in 1,772 families. The District has two cities: Khezrabad and Nadushan. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Kezab Rural District and Nadushan Rural District.
