Linda Kay Sharp is a former collegiate women's basketball coach. Her coaching career spans 31 seasons with stints on all levels from elementary, junior high and high school to the collegiate and professional ranks, and she was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001.
Alicia Kay Hollowell-Dunn is an American, former collegiate 4-time NCAA Division I All-American, retired right-handed pro softball pitcher and Assistant Coach originally from Suisun, California. She attended Fairfield High School from 1998–2002. She pitched for the Arizona Wildcats from 2003–2006, collecting 144 career wins and 1,768 strikeouts, both top-10 NCAA career records. She currently holds the Arizona Wildcats records for career strikeouts, shutouts and innings pitched, in addition to the Pac-12 Conference wins and strikeout ratio crowns. Hollowell won the 2006 NCAA Softball World Series title. She was drafted #5 overall by the Arizona Heat in the National Pro Fastpitch but went on to play for the Akron Racers in 2007, leading them to the championship series before serving as an alternate for the USA Olympic softball team in 2008. For her collegiate career, Hollowell is one of five NCAA Division I pitchers to win 100 games, strikeout 1,000 batters, with a sub-1.00 ERA and average double digit strikeouts. Hollowell has been named by Tucson, Arizona sportswriters as #6 Best Arizona Wildcat Softball Player; voted by Arizona fans as the #1 Best Pitcher; selected #10 Best Division I Pitcher by the NCAA. Finally she was named a pitcher on the Pac-12 All-Century Team.
Anjelica Maria Selden is a former collegiate All-American, right-handed softball pitcher and coach originally from Vacaville, California, US. She played for and holds the career crown for strikeouts for the UCLA Bruins in the Pac-12 Conference. She also pitched internationally.
Murry Linn Bartow is an American college basketball coach who most recently was the interim head coach for the UCLA Bruins. As the head coach of the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, he was twice named the conference coach of the year, first in the Southern Conference in 2004 and later in the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2007.

The CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners are the intercollegiate athletic teams representing the California State University, Bakersfield, located in Bakersfield, California. Megan Diane Langenfeld is an American, former collegiate All-American, right-handed batting softball pitcher and current assistant coach, originally from Bakersfield, California. She attended Centennial High School. She played infielder and pitcher for the UCLA Bruins in the Pac-12 Conference and is school career leader in saves. She led the Bruins to a title win at the 2010 Women's College World Series and was named MVP. As a member of the United States women's national softball team she won 2011 World Cup of Softball. Langenfeld is currently an assistant coach for the Oregon Ducks softball.
The California Golden Bears volleyball team is the intercollegiate women's volleyball team of the University of California, Berkeley. The team plays its home games at Haas Pavilion, which was built on top of the old Harmon Gymnasium using money donated in part by the owners of Levi-Strauss. The arena was originally known as Men's Gymnasium and then later Harmon Gymnasium until the late 1990s when it went through massive renovations, which displaced the team for two seasons. The California volleyball program has seen great success in recent years, reaching the final four in 2007, winning the Pac-10 championship in 2010, and finishing as the runner-up in the NCAA tournament in 2010. The current head coach is Sam Crosson, who began his tenure in 2019.
The California Golden Bears softball team is the college softball team representing the University of California, Berkeley in NCAA Division I. The team plays its home games at Levine-Fricke Field, which is located in Strawberry Canyon near California Memorial Stadium. While the stadium was built fairly recently in 1995, it is not up to the standards of the NCAA, and therefore cannot host NCAA tournament games. California softball is one of the most consistently successful programs at the school with a current 26 year NCAA tournament streak and a national championship in 2002. The current head coach is Chelsea Spencer, a former player at California under legendary head coach Diane Ninemire.

She was a starting pitcher for the California Golden Bears from 2010-13 where she is the career leader in wins and was a 4-time All-Pac-12 player. She is the reigning National Pro Fastpitch Pitcher of The Year after being drafted #3 overall in 2013 and currently ranks top-10 in career wins, ERA, WHIP and fielding percentage and is on the roster for the independent softball team the USSSA Pride. She also played on the United States women's national softball team in 2014.
The 2020 NCAA Division I Softball season, play of college softball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began February 6, 2020. The season ended on March 12, 2020, when the NCAA cancelled all winter championships and spring sports seasons due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament and 2020 Women's College World Series, which were to be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, did not occur.
The 2020 California Golden Bears football team represented the University of California, Berkeley during the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by head coach Justin Wilcox, in his fourth year as head coach. The team's offense was led by Bill Musgrave, who replaced Beau Baldwin; Baldwin left to become the head coach at Cal Poly.
Chelsea Spencer is an American, former collegiate All-American, professional four-time All-Star, softball player, who is currently the head coach at California. She played college softball as a shortstop for the California Golden Bears in the Pac-12 Conference, and helped them to the 2002 Women's College World Series national title and two runner-up finishes in 2003 and 2004.
