Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop and rock band that formed in 1999 with three members: vocalist Tomiko Van, guitarist Ryo Owatari, and guitarist and composer Dai Nagao. The band's name is sometimes abbreviated as DAI, alluding to the fact that Do As Infinity was named after Nagao. Signed to Avex Trax, the band released their debut single "Tangerine Dream" on September 29, 1999, followed by three more singles between 1999 and 2000, which appeared on their debut album Break of Dawn (2000). In December 2000, Nagao decided to devote all his time to composing the music and no longer appeared at live events. Five more studio albums were released between 2001 with New World and 2005 with Need Your Love.
True Song is Do As Infinity's fourth album. It was released on December 26, 2002 under the Avex Records label. The last song on this album, "Ai no Uta", has become a fan favorite and also a staple song to the end of all the Do As Infinity concerts after this album released. Another staple song for their concerts was "One or Eight", which they usually do band member introductions in the middle of. "Kūsō Ryodan", according to Saiko Kawamura written in the Do the A-side booklet, is the song resembling Do As Infinity spirit. He stated that "...we are the fantasy brigade..." in the last sentence of the booklet which he penned.
"Heroes and Villains" is a song by the American rock band the Beach Boys from their 1967 album Smiley Smile and their unfinished Smile project. Written by Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks, Wilson envisioned the song as an Old West-themed musical comedy that would surpass the recording and artistic achievements of "Good Vibrations". The single failed to meet critical and commercial expectations, but was a hit record, peaking at number 12 in the US and number 8 in the UK.
Octavarium is the eighth studio album by American progressive metal band Dream Theater. Released on June 7, 2005, it was the band's final release with Atlantic Records. Recorded between September 2004 and February 2005, it was the last album recorded at The Hit Factory in New York City. With it, the band decided to create "a classic Dream Theater album", drawing upon their various stylistic influences while trying to make the music less complex. The album takes its creative concept from the musical octave.
“Walking in the Air" is a song written by Howard Blake for the 1982 animated film The Snowman based on Raymond Briggs' 1978 children's book of the same name. The song forms the centrepiece of The Snowman, which has become a seasonal favourite on British and Finnish television. The story relates the fleeting adventures of a young boy and a snowman who has come to life. In the second part of the story, the boy and the snowman fly to the North Pole. "Walking in the Air" is the theme for the journey. They attend a party of snowmen, at which the boy seems to be the only human until they meet Father Christmas with his reindeer, and the boy is given a scarf with a snowman pattern. In the film, the song was performed by St Paul's Cathedral choirboy Peter Auty, and reissued in 1985 and 1987.

Wonderland is the second studio album by English pop rock band McFly. It was released in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2005, and was a success, being certified platinum, selling over 300,000 copies in the UK peaking at number 1 in the UK Albums Chart breaking the world record for the youngest band to top the album chart twice. Despite being less of a success in the UK, the album went on to match the worldwide sales of McFly's debut album Room on the 3rd Floor, selling over one million copies.
"Fukai Mori" is the tenth single by Do As Infinity, released on June 27, 2001. It is the band's best selling single in Japan. The song is used as the second ending theme for the anime Inuyasha. The accompanying music video for "Fukai Mori" was filmed in early 2001 at the Glücks Königreich theme park in Hokkaido, Japan.
"Desire" is the seventh single by the Japanese pop and rock band Do As Infinity, released in 2001. "Desire" and "Carnaval" are almost the same songs but "Carnaval" was meant to be written from a male perspective while "Desire" described a female perspective in the lyrics. The Works is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 27 February 1984 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and it is the band's first studio album to be released by Capitol Records in the United States. After the synth-heavy Hot Space (1982), the album saw the re-emergence of Brian May and Roger Taylor's rock sound, while still incorporating the early 80s retro futuristic electronic music and New York funk scenes. Recorded at the Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles, California and Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany from August 1983 to January 1984, the album's title comes from a comment Taylor made as recording began – "Let's give them the works!".

"Do or Die" is the eleventh single by Super Furry Animals. It was the third and final single to be taken from the Guerrilla album and was the band's last release for Creation Records. The track reached number 20 in the UK Singles Chart after its release on 17 January 2000. The group had originally wanted to release "Wherever I Lay My Phone " as the final single from Guerilla but Creation instead chose "Do or Die", a decision which the band claimed not to understand.

It is accompanied by the B-side titled, " Ukiyo Odoribito " which was written and composed by TAKESHI. This single release was the band's first release for 2010 and their 14th single release overall. The single was released by Imperial Records as the second single release for their fourth album, 8 Uppers. The single also served as the introduction to the 8 Uppers story, the movie that also came with the album's release.

A rock ballad primarily based around non-electronic instruments, the song was composed by the band's vocalist Ichiro Yamaguchi about his mental state while physically unwell and mentally frustrated, after being unable to finish writing the song "Sayonara wa Emotion". In January 2014, a remix of the song was used in the NHK documentary program Next World: Watashi-tachi no Mirai, later to be included on the band's compilation album Natsukashii Tsuki wa Atarashii Tsuki: Coupling & Remix Works (2015).
"Eureka" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. It was released as a single in January 2014, as a double A-side single with the song "Good-Bye". The minimal techno and city pop song served as the ending credits theme song of the film Judge! (2014), while their 2010 single "Identity" was used as the film's theme song. The song was composed while the band's vocalist and songwriter Ichiro Yamaguchi was physically and mentally unwell. He used his feelings of homesickness during this time to write lyrics that compared his current residence, Tokyo, to his hometown of Otaru, Hokkaido.
"Hasu no Hana" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. The song was used as the theme song of the film Close Range Love (2014) starring Tomohisa Yamashita and Nana Komatsu. The version used in the film was given an initial release on October 8, 2014 digitally, followed by a single release featuring a different mix of the song on October 29, where it was paired with the song "Sayonara wa Emotion" as a double A-side single.
"Sayonara wa Emotion" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. Initially used as a 2013 jingle for the yobikō Tōshin High School, the song was recorded in full a year later. It was released on October 29, 2014, as a double A-side single with the song "Hasu no Hana".
Reaching into Infinity is the seventh studio album by British power metal band DragonForce, released on 19 May 2017. It is the band's first studio album to feature drummer Gee Anzalone and the last to feature longtime keyboardist Vadim Pruzhanov.
