Do As Infinity is a Japanese pop and rock band that formed in 1999 with three members: vocalist Tomiko Van, guitarist Ryo Owatari, and guitarist and composer Dai Nagao. The band's name is sometimes abbreviated as DAI, alluding to the fact that Do As Infinity was named after Nagao. Signed to Avex Trax, the band released their debut single "Tangerine Dream" on September 29, 1999, followed by three more singles between 1999 and 2000, which appeared on their debut album Break of Dawn (2000). In December 2000, Nagao decided to devote all his time to composing the music and no longer appeared at live events. Five more studio albums were released between 2001 with New World and 2005 with Need Your Love.
Asian Kung-Fu Generation is a Japanese alternative rock band formed in Yokohama, Japan, in 1996. For its entire career, the band has consisted of vocalist Masafumi Gotoh, guitarist Kensuke Kita, bassist Takahiro Yamada, and drummer Kiyoshi Ijichi. Starting out as a college band, Asian Kung-Fu Generation released a series of independent EPs featuring lyrics mostly sung in English. In 2002, they released their major-label EP debut Hōkai Amplifier, from that point singing their lyrics in Japanese. The band's musical style is influenced by seminal Western alternative rock acts as well as their own local Japanese indie-rock and punk scene. Their songs incorporate various aspects of the genres, most typically expressing fast tempos and prominent power chord guitar riffs in addition to rhythmic groove and emotional lyrics. Despite the indie nature of their music, the band has enjoyed worldwide commercial success in addition to critical acclaim. Asian Kung-Fu Generation has been cited as one of the best, most balanced modern rock bands to emerge from Japan in the 2000s.
Do the Best is a greatest hits album by the musical group Do As Infinity, released in 2002. In 2004, a combined compilation Do the Best + DVD was released. Some of the tracks in the album have minor changes, such as "Oasis" having an actual, definite ending unlike the original single where it previously had faded out instead. "Nice & Easy" was a brand new song that was included, it was also used as the theme song for a Lavenus commercial song featuring lead singer and musician, Tomiko Van. The CD+DVD version of the album is a re-release which was released in 2004 and included a DVD with numerous videos of the first thirteen tracks of the CD album.
Do the B-side is the eighth album from the popular Japanese band Do As Infinity. A limited edition of this album was released with an original T-shirt celebrating the fifth anniversary for the band. Footage of the concert is found in the Do As Infinity Live Year 2004 DVD. This B-side compilation album was released on September 23, 2004 under the AVEX Records label.
Need Your Love is the sixth album from the Japanese band Do As Infinity. It was released on February 16, 2005. The first (pre-album) single release from Need Your Love was "Rakuen", also featured in the fourth movie in the InuYasha anime series. Several other songs from the album, including "For the Future" and "Be Free", have been featured on Japanese television, as well as Yotaka no Yume being featured as the opening theme of Zoids Genesis. Five different editions of this album were released, CD, CD+DVD, CD+DVD+T-shirt Van design, CD+DVD+T-shirt Ryo design, and SACD.
Do the A-side is a compilation album from popular Japanese band Do As Infinity, following their announcement to split. It was released on September 28, 2005 and includes every single that they have made. This is the only CD album released from Do As Infinity which does not include any of the band's pictures besides their past CD single covers. There are two versions of this album, one with 2 CDs and a DVD as well as one only containing two CDs. Supreme Show is the seventh studio album by Japanese recording artist Ami Suzuki. It was released on November 12, 2008 by Avex Trax as her 10th Anniversary album. It was also released ten months after her joint project album, Dolce. Supreme Show is Suzuki's first album to be fully produced, composed, and arranged by Japanese musician and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata. Suzuki contributed to the album as the lead vocalist, background vocalist, and co-songwriter for the track "Love Mail". With tracks recorded in both English and Japanese language, Supreme Show is an electronic dance music album.
"∞1" is Do As Infinity's twenty-first single, released on June 17, 2009. The band had disbanded in September 2005, but reformed three years later in September 2008. This is the first new single the band released after reforming, and is the first single by the band not to have Dai Nagao. The single contains four songs, though none are named "∞1", and this is the first Do As Infinity single not to contain instrumental versions of any song. A music video directed by Kensuke Kawamura was produced for "Umareyuku Monotachi e".
Eternal Flame is Do As Infinity's seventh studio album, released on September 30, 2009. The band had disbanded in September 2005, but reformed three years later in September 2008. This is the first new album the band released after reforming, and is the first album by the band not to have Dai Nagao on the staff, though his song "Tangerine Dream" was remixed as a bonus track. The album contains twelve music tracks plus one bonus track for the limited edition first print release of Eternal Flame. Two of the tracks were originally featured on Do As Infinity's 21st single "∞1" (2009). Three of the songs were featured on Japanese television: "Saigo no Game", "Meramera", and "Piece Of Your Heart". Two different editions of the album were released, CD and CD+DVD.
"Kimi ga Inai Mirai" is Do As Infinity's 22nd single, released on January 20, 2010. Of the four songs on the single, only the title track is new - the remaining three are the previously released songs "Fukai Mori", "Shinjitsu no Uta" and "Rakuen". The four songs on the single were all used as theme songs to either the InuYasha anime series or the animated film InuYasha the Movie: Fire on the Mystic Island; the single was released as a commemoration of this. Four versions of the single were produced: a CD+DVD set in regular and first-print editions, and a CD-only release also in regular and first-print editions. A music video directed by Wataru Takeishi was produced for "Kimi ga Inai Mirai".

"∞2" is Do As Infinity's 23rd single, released on June 16, 2010. The single is the second in the "Infinity" series, after Do As Infinity's 21st single "∞1" (2009). Like "∞1", "∞2" contains four songs with none named after the single itself. Between September 1 and October 31, 2009, the second installment of a contest called Do! Creative!! was held to give Do As Infinity fans a chance to compose songs that the band would later perform. Of the songs received, two were selected to be placed on "∞2": "Everything Will Be All Right" composed by Shohei Ohi, and "Haruka" composed by Fumiyasu Sueoka. A music video was produced for "1/100" directed by A.T. "1/100" and "Everything Will Be All Right" were used as promotional theme songs for professional Kyōtei boat racing in 2010. "Pile Driver" was used as a promotional theme song for Hiroshima University of Economics in 2010.
"Chikai" is the 25th single by Japanese band Do As Infinity, released on July 27, 2011. This is the first single released after the album Eight, and it was released in two formats. The CD-only version contains the title track plus three live versions of songs featured on Eight. These live versions were sung at the concert "Do As Infinity Live Tour 2011: Eight", recorded at Osaka Namba Hatch on May 15, 2011. The main song, "Chikai", was announced to be used as theme song for a PlayStation Portable game named Sengoku Basara Chronicle Heroes, distributed by Capcom. The CD+DVD version comes with a music video for "Chikai" and an original video of Sengoku Basara.

Alive is the fourth Japanese studio album by South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was released on March 28, 2012 including 10 songs: 4 Japanese versions, 2 new songs and 4 songs already released in Korean from the EP of same name. The album is the first release of the group under the label YGEX, a partnership between the Korean agency YG Entertainment with the Japanese label Avex Trax. The album was re-released on June 20 under the name "Alive -Monster Edition-". It included 9 songs of the Alive original album, 1 Japanese version and 2 songs released in Korean.
Zigaexperientia is the third studio album by the Japanese J-pop band Supercell, released on November 27, 2013 by SME. The album contains 15 music tracks written by Ryo, and sung by Koeda, though officially Koeda is not a member of Supercell. Six of the tracks were previously released on five of Supercell's singles. Three different editions of the album were released: a regular CD version, a CD+DVD limited edition, and a CD+BD limited edition. Zigaexperientia peaked at No. 7 on the Japanese Oricon weekly albums chart.

The song was released as the album's lead promotional single on July 10, 2013, the same release date as Feel. "Heaven" was written by Emyli and produced by German-Russian DJ Zedd. Composed by Zedd, Emyli and Tommy Clint, "Heaven" is a house song.
"Go Round" is a song by Japanese recording artist Namie Amuro from her tenth studio album Uncontrolled (2012). It was released as a double a-side single with another album track "Yeah-Oh" and was served as the fourth single on March 21, 2012 by Avex Trax. "Go Round" was written by Aili, produced by T-Sk and co-composed by Tesung Kim and Australian duo Nervo. With a cover sleeve, photographed by Takaki Kumada, showing Amuro in front of a blurry window pane, "Go Round" was recorded both in English and Japanese language and is a dance-pop song.
Alive is the twelfth studio album by Japanese band Do As Infinity, released on February 28, 2018. All the songs in the album were produced by Hiroyuki Sawano. Three singles were released in 2017. The song "Keshin no Juu" was used as the ending theme song for the anime Juni Taisen: Zodiac War. Three different editions of the album were released: a regular CD version, a CD+DVD, and a CD+Blu-ray limited edition.
