Tayven Jackson (born January 5, 2004) is an American football quarterback for the Indiana Hoosiers.

High school career

Jackson attended Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana. [1] During his career, he passed for 4,813 yards and 47 touchdowns. He committed to the University of Tennessee to play college football. [2]

College career

Jackson appeared in three games as a true freshman at Tennessee in 2022. After the season, he entered the transfer portal and transferred to Indiana University Bloomington. [3] In his first year at Indiana in 2023, he competed with Brendan Sorsby for the starting job. After two games of splitting time, he was named the starter prior to the team's third game. [4] [5]

Personal life

His brother, Trayce Jackson-Davis, played college basketball at Indiana and currently plays for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. [7] His father, Ray Jackson, played in the NFL. [8]

In their eighth season under head coach Lee Corso, the Hoosiers finished in a tie for sixth place in the Big Ten Conference, compiled a 6–5, and outscored their opponents by a combined total of 255 to 235. The team played its home games at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana.

The following year, he won the Maxwell Award after leading the NCAA in passing yards en route to an appearance in the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship. Cameron Camper is an American football wide receiver for the Boise State Broncos. He first played two seasons for Trinity Valley Community College, where he caught 50 receptions for four touchdowns and 858 yards. Camper then committed to Indiana in December 2021 and led Indiana's receivers in terms of receptions and yardage in 2022, before sustaining an injury. He then recovered to play in 2023, scoring one touchdown and catching 17 receptions for 285 yards, before committing to Boise State in January 2024.
