Mikey Keene is an American football quarterback for the Fresno State Bulldogs. He previously played for the UCF Knights.
Keene attended Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona. [2] As a junior, Keene recorded 193 completions for 2,835 yards and 23 touchdowns. [3] In his senior season, Keene threw for 2,069 yards and 22 touchdowns on 154 completions, leading Chandler to a state championship. [4] A three-star recruit, he committed to play college football at the University of Central Florida. [5]
Keene entered the 2021 season as the backup to Dillion Gabriel. After an injury to Gabriel, Keene became the starter as a true freshman. [6] [7] He made ten starts, totaling 1,730 yards and 18 total touchdowns. [8] Keene threw for 144 yards and one touchdown in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl, leading UCF to a 29–17 over Florida. [9] Keene entered the 2022 season as the backup to John Rhys Plumlee, where he would only appear in four games. He finished the season with 647 yards and six touchdowns before entering the transfer portal. [10] [11]
On December 21, 2022, Keene announced his decision to transfer to Fresno State. [12] Entering the 2023 season, he was named the starting quarterback. [13] In the season opener against Purdue, Keene threw for four touchdowns and 366 yards, leading Fresno State to a 39–35 victory. [14] [15] Against Arizona State, Keene threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns, leading Fresno State to a 29–0 shutout win. [16] Keene led Fresno State to a 9–4 record and a 37–10 victory in the 2023 New Mexico Bowl. In the New Mexico Bowl, he threw for a career-high 380 yards and recorded four total touchdowns, being named the game's offensive MVP. The 2004–05 NCAA football bowl games were a series of 32 post-season games played in December 2004 and January 2005 for Division I-A football teams and their all-stars. The post-season began with the New Orleans Bowl on December 14, 2004, and concluded on January 29, 2005, with the season-ending Senior Bowl.
The 2006 Hawaii Warriors football team represented the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Warriors tied the school record for most victories in a season with 11, with their only losses coming against Alabama in Tuscaloosa, an undefeated Boise State team that went on to participate in the Bowl Championship Series and Oregon State, which won ten games and finished the season nationally ranked. The Warriors finished in second place in the Western Athletic Conference behind Boise State and returned to the Hawaii Bowl after missing out on postseason play in 2005 due to a losing record. The Warriors defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils in the bowl game by a score of 41–24 to round out one of the school's most successful football seasons ever.
Derek Dallas Carr is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Fresno State Bulldogs, where he twice received first-team All-MW honors, and was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The 1998 UCF Golden Knights football season was the twentieth season overall for the team, and third season as an NCAA Division I-A Independent. After the resignation of Gene McDowell, Mike Kruczek became the new head coach of the Golden Knights. Kruczek led UCF to a 9–2 record in 1998, the program's best season at the time. Quarterback Daunte Culpepper finished 6th in the Heisman Trophy voting and set a then-NCAA record for completion percentage (73.4%). UCF received a tentative verbal agreement to play in the Oahu Bowl. However, the arrangement fell through in the final week of the season.

The game began at aproximately 3:45 p.m. MST and was aired on ESPN. The New Mexico Bowl was one of the 2023–24 bowl games concluding the 2023 FBS football season. The game was sponsored the Isleta Pueblo and officially known as the Isleta New Mexico Bowl.
