Jacurri Brown (born September 4, 2003) [1] is an American football quarterback for the UCF Knights. He previously played for the Miami Hurricanes.
Brown attended Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia. [2] As a senior, he had 1,537 passing yards, 1,101 rushing yards and 30 combined touchdowns. He committed to play college football at the University of Miami. [3] [4]
Brown entered his true freshman year at Miami in 2022 as a backup to Tyler Van Dyke. Due to an injury, he started his first career game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, completing 14 of 19 passes for 136 yards with three touchdowns while rushing for 87 yards. [5] He started the next week against the Clemson Tigers before returning to the backup role. Overall, he appeared in eight games and completed 27 of 45 passes for 230 yards, three touchdowns, three interceptions and rushed for 221 yards on 53 carries. As a sophomore in 2023, Brown started the 2023 Pinstripe Bowl, the only game he played in that season. [6] [7] During the game he completed 20 of 31 passes for 181 yards with one touchdown and one interception and rushed for 57 yards on 15 carries. After the season, he entered the transfer portal and transferred to the University of Central Florida (UCF). [8] [9]
Brown entered his first year at UCF as a backup to KJ Jefferson. He started his first game against the Iowa State Cyclones, completing eight of 20 passes for 62 yards with two interceptions, but rushed for 154 yards with two touchdowns on 13 carries. [10]
The 2008 Miami Hurricanes football team represented the University of Miami during the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season. It was the Hurricanes' 83rd season of football and 5th as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Hurricanes were led by second-year head coach Randy Shannon and played their home games at Dolphin Stadium. They finished the season 7–6 overall and 4–4 in the ACC to finish in a tie for third place in the Coastal Division. They were invited to the Emerald Bowl where they lost to California, 24–17.

He was a member of the St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans. He played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, where he began his career as a walk-on, he redshirted the 2007 season and became the starter a year later. He ended the year with a combined total of 15 school records for both game and single-season marks and led the Golden Eagles to a bowl game victory in the 2008 New Orleans Bowl, being named to the freshman all-C-USA team.

They finished the season 9–4 overall and 5–3 in the ACC to finish in third place in the Coastal Division. They were invited to the Champs Sports Bowl where they lost to Wisconsin, 20–14.
The 2010 UCF Knights football team represented the University of Central Florida in the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Their head coach was George O'Leary, who was in his seventh season with the team. For the first time in program history, the Knights were nationally ranked following a nationally televised rout of Houston on November 5. For the third time in six years, UCF won the Conference USA Eastern Division and later, became Conference USA champions for the second time in four seasons. As a result, the Knights appeared in the Liberty Bowl, in which they defeated Georgia 10–6, for the first bowl victory in program history. UCF finished the season ranked in both final national polls, 20th in the Coaches Poll, and 21st in the AP Poll.
Jeffrey Godfrey IV is a former American football Slotback. Godfrey played for the University of Central Florida Knights. He led the Knights to the Conference USA Championship in his freshman year (2010), becoming the first true freshman quarterback to win an FBS conference championship game.
Robby Blake Bortles is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons, primarily with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football for the UCF Knights, where he received AAC Offensive Player of the Year honors as a junior and was MVP of the 2014 Fiesta Bowl. Bortles was selected by the Jaguars third overall in the 2014 NFL draft.
