Technological University, Loikaw (Burmese : နည်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ် (လွိုင်ကော်)) is in part 260, Pangan village track, in the east of Ywatan Shay village, Loikaw Township, Kayah State, Myanmar. It offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in several different engineering disciplines. It received ISO(9001/2008) in 2016.[ citation needed ]

History

TU (Loikaw) was initially established as Government Technical High School on 30 July 1982. Then, it was promoted to Government Technical Institute on 1 December 1998. It was upgraded to Government Technological College on 10 September 2001. It was promoted to Technological University on 20 January 2007.

Myanmar Maritime University (MMU) (Burmese: မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ရေကြောင်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ် ), located in Thanlyin in the outskirts of Yangon, is the premier university of maritime education in Myanmar. MMU offers 5-year bachelor's degree programs. Starting from 2012, MMU, administered by the Ministry of Transportation, offers two-year post-graduate diplomas in various marine and naval disciplines. In 2007, the school had about 1,800 graduate students, pursuing international STCW-95-standards compliant maritime education.

Technological University, Pakokku is situated beside the Pakokku–Yesagyo road. It is about 8 miles and 4 furlongs far from Pakokku. Kyauk Hlae Khar village is situated to the north, Pantinechone village at the south and Oakkan village at the west. Technological University covers 100.32 acres. The university was opened as G.T.I on 27 December 1999. It was promoted to GTC on 20 October 2002. It was promoted to Technological University on 20 January 2007.

It was formerly opened as Government Technological Institute (GTI) in 1999 and then promoted as Government Technological College (GTC) in 2001. It was upgraded to university level as Technological University in 2007.

Technological University, Meiktila is located on the right side of Meiktila-Pindale Road in Meiktila, Mandalay Region. Its area is 51.65 acres.

Technological University (Panglong) (Burmese: နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ် (ပင်လုံ)) is located on Loilem-Nansang main road in Loilem District, Shan State, Myanmar.

It became Government Technological College (GTC) on 24 April 2009. On 22 April 2010, it developed the Technological University- Yamethin (TU-YMT) under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
