Technological University, Loikaw (Burmese : နည်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ် (လွိုင်ကော်)) is in part 260, Pangan village track, in the east of Ywatan Shay village, Loikaw Township, Kayah State, Myanmar. It offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in several different engineering disciplines. It received ISO(9001/2008) in 2016.[ citation needed ]
TU (Loikaw) was initially established as Government Technical High School on 30 July 1982. Then, it was promoted to Government Technical Institute on 1 December 1998. It was upgraded to Government Technological College on 10 September 2001. It was promoted to Technological University on 20 January 2007.
Due to the new program of MOST, the university offers only Bachelor of Engineering in the 2014–2015 academic year.

Kayah State, or Karenni State, is a state of Myanmar. Situated in eastern Myanmar, it is bounded on the north by Shan State, on the east by Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, and on the south and west by Kayin State. It lies approximately between 18° 30′ and 19° 55′ north latitude and between 96° 50′ and 97° 50′ east longitude. The area is 11,670 km2 (4,510 sq mi). Its capital is Loikaw. The estimated population in the 2014 Myanmar Census was 286,738, the smallest among Myanmar's seven states. It is inhabited primarily by the Karenni ethnic group, also known as Red Karen or Kayah, a Sino-Tibetan people.
Yangon Technological University(YTU) (Burmese: ရန်ကုန်နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ် ), located in Insein, Yangon, Myanmar. It is the premier engineering university of Myanmar. Established as Department of Engineering under Rangoon University in 1924, and popularly known by its former name Rangoon Institute of Technology (RIT), YTU is the country's oldest and largest engineering university, and the best engineering university in Myanmar. The university offers bachelor's, master's and doctorate degree programs in engineering disciplines to nearly 8000 students.
Myanmar Maritime University (MMU) (Burmese: မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ရေကြောင်းပညာ တက္ကသိုလ် ), located in Thanlyin in the outskirts of Yangon, is the premier university of maritime education in Myanmar. MMU offers 5-year bachelor's degree programs. Starting from 2012, MMU, administered by the Ministry of Transportation, offers two-year post-graduate diplomas in various marine and naval disciplines. In 2007, the school had about 1,800 graduate students, pursuing international STCW-95-standards compliant maritime education.
Mandalay Technological University (MTU), in Patheingyi, Mandalay, is a senior prestigious engineering university in Myanmar. The university offers undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes in engineering disciplines to students and is one of the most selective universities in the country, admitting approximately only 300-350 undergrad students annually based on their University Entrance Examination scores.
Pyay Technological University (PTU) (Burmese: ပြည်နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်, pronounced[pjènípjɪ̀ɰ̃ɲàtɛʔkəθò]), in Pyay, is one of three senior engineering universities in Myanmar. It offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in architecture and engineering disciplines. The university draws most of its student body from Lower Myanmar, outside Yangon Division.
Technological University, Thanlyin is a technological university, located in Thanlyin, Yangon Division, Myanmar. The Ministry of Education run university offers bachelor's degree programs in Engineering and Architecture and master's degree programs in Engineering and Architecture.
Government Engineering College, Kozhikode (GECK), is a public engineering institute established by the Department of Technical Education under the Government of Kerala in India. It was one of the five public engineering institutes sanctioned in 1999 by the Government of Kerala. It is one of the 138 institutes affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University since 2015.

Then it was changed into Government Technological College on 2001 and upgraded into University on 2007.

Government Engineering College, Barton Hill (GEC-BH) is a public engineering college situated in Barton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram, India. Founded in 1999 by the Government of Kerala, it provides engineering programmes under the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, accredited to the National Board of Accreditation.
Technological University (Myeik) (Burmese: နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ် (မြိတ်)) is situated on the side of the Yangon-Myeik road and is about 7.87 acres wide, at the village of Kabin, in the township of Myeik, Taninthayi Region, Myanmar. It was formerly opened as Government Technological Institute (GTI) on 27 October 1999 and then it has been promoted to Government Technological College (GTC) in January 2002. Finally, it has been promoted again to university level in January 2007. Technological University (Myeik) has produced human resources annually. Degrees provided by the university are Graduate Degree Program, Under Graduate Degree Program. The library in Technological University (Myeik) has up to date books and CDs for the students.
Technological University (Kyaing Tong) (Burmese: နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်(ကျိုင်းတုံ)) is in Kengtung Township, East Shan State, Myanmar with an area of 38.38 acres. It was formerly opened as Government Technological Institute (GTI) in 1999 and then promoted as Government Technological College (GTC) in 2001. It was upgraded to university level as Technological University in 2007.

The university is run by Ministry of Education (Myanmar).It was established in 1992 as Government Technical Institute and was upgraded to Technical College in 1997 and finally it was upgraded to University level in 2007 and it is known as Technological University, Taunggyi. The school has 84.482 acres wide. Yearly average graduation students are about 500 students.

It became Government Technological College (GTC) on 24 April 2009. On 22 April 2010, it developed the Technological University- Yamethin (TU-YMT) under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
