Tejaswi Madivada is an Indian actress and model who works predominantly in Telugu films and television shows. A dance tutor turned actress, she has debuted with a recurring role in Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013) and had her breakthrough with Ice Cream (2014). She was a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss 2 (2018).
Madivada studied at Begumpet Air Force College, Hyderabad. She studied Mass communication and Journalism at the St Francis College for Women in Hyderabad. She later worked part-time as a freelance dance instructor with Twist n Turns and took classes for MNCs like HSBC, Wipro, Franklin Templeton and in schools like Nasr School for Girls. [1] She had worked in various short films there one of the short film called "Dhanam Mulam Idham Jagath" short film got her recognition for her negetive shades. She participated at Miss Dabur Gulabari 2011, a beauty pageant, where she was the second runner-up and which reportedly got her first film offer. [1]
Madivada made her acting debut in 2013 with a supporting role in the family drama film Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu . [1] Next year she was seen in further supporting roles in Manam and in Nithin's Heart Attack ,[ citation needed ] before landing her first lead role in Ram Gopal Varma's horror film Ice Cream . The film made the headlines after it was reported that Madivada had appeared nude in one scene. [2] Ice Cream received mixed reviews from critics [3] but was a commercial blockbuster. [4]
Her next releases, Lovers, [5] Anukshanam , another Ram Gopal Varma directorial, [6] Kranthi Madhav's Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju, in which she portrayed Nithya Menen's daughter, [7] [8] Srimanthudu , and Pandaga Chesko [7] saw her playing secondary characters. Her subsequent projects were Omkar's Raju Gari Gadi, [8] Oorvasi Vo Rakshasi Vo, Subramaniam For Sale and her first Tamil film Natpathigaram 79. [9]
Post her first stint in Big Boss in 2018, she decided to settle down and get married. She stated that he wanted her to make some changes and listen to his parents. After trying for while, she feared she would be losing her identity and called off the wedding [10]
In 2022 she appeared in a television dance series BB Jodi on Star Maa. [11]

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is the feature film soundtrack of the 2013 family-drama film of the same name starring Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Anjali and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film's music was composed by Mickey J Meyer, marking his second collaboration with Srikanth Addala. Mani Sharma provided the re-recording and background score for the film, while Anantha Sreeram and Sirivennela Sitaramasastri composed the lyrics for the songs in the album. It is the first Indian movie to be filmed with Flowcam System Technology and was released on 12 July 2014. The film deals with a character that is obsessed with eating ice cream and suffers from a nightmare disorder. Upon release, the film became a blockbuster at the box office.
Anukshanam is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language mystery thriller, and slasher film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, starring Vishnu Manchu and Revathi in lead roles. Ram Gopal Varma has started a new distribution system with this film by auctioning this movie through a website. Released on 13 September 2014 without an intermission, the film opened to a mixed reception, with praise for Vishnu’s performance, the script and screenplay, but criticism of the gore, bloodshed and lack of characterisation. The film had a lukewarm reception at the box-office.
