Tell Me It's Real is the debut studio album by British music duo Seafret. It was released on 29 January 2016 by Sweet Jane Recordings. [1] The album peaked at number 59 on the UK Albums Chart.
"Atlantis" was released as the lead single from the album on 1 May 2015. [2] "Be There" was released as the second single from the album on 30 June 2015. [3] "Wildfire" was released as the third single from the album on 27 November 2015. [4]
Tell Me It's Real received mixed to positive reviews from music critics. Ashleigh Grady from Clash said, "As standalone singles, perhaps more of the tracks on ‘Tell Me It’s Real’ would hold a greater emotional impact but nevertheless there are moments of real beauty on Seafret's album. The sparse simplicity of the intricate guitar picking and emotive lyrics create a euphoric, wave-like quality [...] ‘Tell Me It’s Real’ will deliver more of the delicate emotion that they love, however, for the undecided listener, a little more variation and experimentation wouldn't go amiss." [5] Molly Kerkham from ForgePress said, "While the album traverses tried and tested ground for love songs, Seafret’s song writing breathes fresh air into these topics. The songs are packed full of metaphors, but ... the lyrics avoid being a collection of romance truisms. At its worst, this album verges towards sounding a bit like a second-rate Mumford and Sons. There's too many over-enthusiastic yet drab guitar build ups." [6]
On 5 February 2016, Tell Me It's Real entered the UK Albums Chart at number 59, the album also entered the Scottish Albums Chart at number 90. On 7 February 2016, the album entered the Swiss Albums Chart at number 100.

"If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next" is a song by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers. It was released on 24 August 1998, through Epic Records as the first single from their fifth studio album, This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours (1998). The track sold 156,000 copies in its first week and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in August 1998. Outside the United Kingdom, the song reached number one in Iceland and the top 20 in Norway and Sweden. It became the band's only song to chart in North America, peaking at number 19 on the Canadian RPM Alternative 30 chart.
"Goodnight and Go" is a song by British singer-songwriter Imogen Heap, the second single from her 2005 album Speak for Yourself. The lyrics of the song describe the "devastation of having a crush." The single received a little more push and promotion in the US than "Hide and Seek", and the music video received airplay on VH1. Jeff Beck plays guitar on the track.

Deja Monét Trimble, known professionally as Dej Loaf, is an American rapper and singer from Detroit, Michigan. She is best known for her 2014 single, "Try Me" and its 2015 follow up, "Back Up". The latter received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and served as the lead single for her debut extended play ...And See That's the Thing (2015), which was released by Columbia Records. Both songs, along with her guest appearance on Kid Ink's 2015 single "Be Real", peaked within the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut studio album, Sell Sole II (2020) was met with positive critical reception, although it failed to chart.
Nothing but Thieves are a British rock band, formed in 2012 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, guitarist and keyboardist Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake, and drummer James Price. In 2014, they signed to RCA Records and a year later in October 2015, they released their self-titled debut album. Canadian rapper and singer Tory Lanez has released seven studio albums, Twenty mixtapes, four extended plays (EP), eighty-nine singles and more than eighty music videos. In 2009, Lanez began his career by releasing his debut mixtape, T.L 2 T.O. He received major recognition from the mixtape, Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, released in August 2013, which included guest appearances from Roscoe Dash and Kirko Bangz. In 2014, he released Lost Cause which led to his first tour, the Lost Cause tour. Lanez collaborated with the WeDidIt collective on the Cruel Intentions EP in 2015. Chixtape III and The New Toronto were released later that year. He released his debut album I Told You, in 2016.

The track was initially released through Hollywood, Island and Safehouse Records on August 24, 2017, as the first promotional single from Lovato's sixth studio album of the same name (2017). It was released as the second and final single from the album on November 14, 2017. Lyrically, the song uses relationship metaphors to reference theme of self-respect.

"Real Groove" is a song by Australian singer Kylie Minogue from her fifteenth studio album, Disco (2020). The song was written by Minogue, Teemu Brunila, Nico Stadi and Alida Garpestad Peck, with a sense of optimism for days ahead during the COVID-19 pandemic. Brunila and Stadi also handled the production. It is a disco-pop song with house and R&B elements and features vocoders, a funk bass and post-disco synths. The lyrics see Minogue attempting to win an ex back. A new version, a duet with English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa entitled "Studio 2054 remix", was released on 31 December 2020 as the album's third single. The remix added William Bowerman as a producer with additional instrumentation and Lipa incorporating layered vocals and new lyrics.
