Tessaracoccus antarcticus is a Gram-positive and facultatively anaerobic bacterium from the genus Tessaracoccus which has been isolated from soil from the Fildes Peninsula. [1] [2] [3] Tessaracoccus antarcticus produces rhodopsin.
