The.Lost.Innocent is the third studio album by Japanese rock band Fanatic Crisis and their second major label release. It was released on the label For Life on February 24, 1999. [1] The first edition featured a white digipack with a velcrow strap, while the second edition, with remastered sound, was released in a jewel case with a black cover.

Contents

The album's singles are "Rainy merry-go-round", "Hinotori", "beauties -beauty eyes-" and "Maybe true". [2] In 2019, vocalist Tsutomu Ishizuki and guitarists Kazuya and Shun reunited as a subunit of the band, called Fantastic Circus. Singles from the album were included on the re-recording album Tenseism released by them in March 2023. [3]

Critical reception

In a review of the album, CD Journal website noted that the album contains many digital and cybernetic sounds, and stated "the [songs] that aren't singles are definitely more interesting." [4]

Commercial performance

The.Lost.Innocent peaked at number six on Oricon Albums Chart, remaining on chart for five weeks. [5] On Billboard Japan , it reached seventh position. [6] It is the band's best-selling album, with around 162,110 copies sold. [7]

While in the band's history "Maybe true" became the highest-ranking single on chart, "Hinotori" was the best-selling. [2]

Tsutomu Ishizuki is a Japanese singer, musician and designer, best known as the lead singer and songwriter of rock band Fanatic Crisis from 1992 to 2005. Two years later, he started working as a designer. In 2012, he returned to music by starting a solo career and in 2019, Ishizuki and the two guitarists from Fanatic Crisis formed the sub-unit Fantastic Circus.

Lycaon was a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in late 2007. Guitarist Rito (リト) changed his name to Zero (零) in 2013. Eve is always credited as Schlagzeug which means drums in German. The band has announced that they would be disbanding in November 2015.

"Sakura" is the 45th single by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on February 25, 2015 under their record label J Storm. "Sakura" was used as the theme song for the television drama Ouroborous, starring actors Toma Ikuta and Shun Oguri. The single was released in two editions: a first press/limited edition and a regular edition. The first press/limited edition contains the B-side "Rise and Shine" and the music video and making-of for "Sakura" while the regular edition contains two B-sides. The single sold 465,381 copies in its first week and topped the weekly Oricon Singles Chart. EAS is the fourth studio album by Japanese rock band Fanatic Crisis and their first release with the label Stoic Stone on September 13, 2000. The original mixes of Purple & Psychic Honey, Sonzai Riyuu to Sonzai Ishiki, and Be You were featured on the Side Adam and Side Eve EPs.

Cero are a Japanese pop band from Tokyo. The band was formed by singer, guitarist, and flautist Shōhei Takagi, keyboardist Yū Arauchi, and drummer Tomoyuki Yanagi in 2004. They were joined by guitarist Tsubasa Hashimoto in 2006 and musician Keiichi Suzuki became their producer in 2008. They released their debut album, World Record, in 2011, after which Yanagi departed the band. "S" is a single by Japanese rock band SID, released on May 9, 2012, by Ki/oon Music and is the theme song for the film Sadako 3D. "S", a hard rock song, was included on the album M&W and also on Oricon chart top 1 Sid 10th Anniversary Best.
