EAS is the fourth studio album by Japanese rock band Fanatic Crisis and their first release with the label Stoic Stone on September 13, 2000. The original mixes of Purple & Psychic Honey, Sonzai Riyuu to Sonzai Ishiki, and Be You were featured on the Side Adam and Side Eve EPs. [1]
The album features three singles, "Kokoro ni Hana o Kokoro ni Toge o" (心に花を 心に棘を), "Behind", used as key music for television programs Rhythm Baby and 20-Sai no Kekkon (20歳の結婚) respectively, and "Defect Lover Complex". [2] The band's tours in promotion of the album took place throughout 2000, named Eas Syndrome. [3] The 2001 Eas Syndrome Files music video collection also features behind-the-scenes footage from the tour. [4]
In 2019, vocalist Tsutomu Ishizuki and guitarist Kazuya and Shun reunited as a subunit of the band, called Fantastic Circus. Singles from the album were included on the greatest hits album Tenseism released by them in March 2023. [5]
The album's name, which is an acronym for Envisage as Spiral, means "to envision a spiral scale in your mind." [6] Regarding the song "Behind", the website CD Journal states that it starts with heavy guitar and bass, but becomes pop when the vocals come in. [6] HMV commented that the sound had changed significantly compared to the band's first major album, One -one for all- . [7]
EAS peaked at number 11 on Oricon Albums Chart, staying on chart for three weeks. [8] It sold 23,180 copies while on the chart, making it the band's third best-selling album, behind their previous albums The.Lost.Innocent and One -one for all- . [9] On Billboard Japan, it debuted at 15th place. [10]
"Kokoro ni Hana o Kokoro ni Toge o" (心に花を 心に棘を), "Behind" and "Defect Lover Complex" reached 20th, 20th and 26th position on Oricon Singles Chart, respectively. [2]

doa (バンド) is a Japanese rock band. The band is named after a single letter of each of the members' names: Daiki Yoshimoto, Shinichiro Ohta, and Akihito Tokunaga. They debuted in 2004 under recording company and label Giza Studio. In 2023, they left the company and became independent. In August 2024, they announced their intent to disband at the end of the year.

Tora no Ana is a 2002 cover album by GO!GO!7188, containing covers of anime songs and Japanese pop songs from the 60s and 70s. The name translates in English as Tiger's Lair. The album sold approximately 100,000 copies and reached number 15 on the Oricon albums chart. In 2008, Go!Go! released a second cover album, titled Tora no Ana 2.
"Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku" is a song written by Izumi Sakai and Tetsurō Oda, originally recorded and released as the fourth single by Japanese rock band Field of View on March 11, 1996. The song serves as the opening theme to the anime series Dragon Ball GT, and the ending theme to the theatrical film Dragon Ball: The Path to Power. The single reached number four on the Oricon Singles Chart, and sold over 400,000 copies. Sakai released a cover of "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku" with her group Zard on their 1996 album Today Is Another Day.

Tsutomu Ishizuki is a Japanese singer, musician and designer, best known as the lead singer and songwriter of rock band Fanatic Crisis from 1992 to 2005. Two years later, he started working as a designer. In 2012, he returned to music by starting a solo career and in 2019, Ishizuki and the two guitarists from Fanatic Crisis formed the sub-unit Fantastic Circus.

The.Lost.Innocent is the third studio album by Japanese rock band Fanatic Crisis and their second major label release. It was released on the label For Life on February 24, 1999. The first edition featured a white digipack with a velcrow strap, while the second edition, with remastered sound, was released in a jewel case with a black cover.

Glim Spanky is a Japanese rock band from Nagano Prefecture, consisting of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Remi Matsuo and lead guitarist Hiroki Kamemoto. Originally formed by Matsuo as a quartet for a high school festival in 2007, the group became a duo when they moved to Tokyo to pursue music professionally in February 2010. Glim Spanky signed to Virgin Music in 2014, and released their first full-length album, Sunrise Journey, the following year. The song was written by Yasushi Akimoto and Youth Case about the importance of a scolding person. Haruka Kaki performed at the center position. Kazumi Takayama, Ranze Terada, Erika Ikuta, Mai Shinuchi and Minami Hoshino participated as their last single with the group.

The lead performer for the title song rotates between Yumiko Takino, Chiho Ishida, and Mai Nakamura in an unusual "triangle center" system. A short film featuring the performers of the title song was released on YouTube as part of the single's promotion.
