The 1st Mini Album is the debut mini album by Crayon Pop sub-unit Strawberry Milk, composed of identical twins Choa and Way. It was released on October 15, 2014 by Chrome Entertainment and Sony Music.
"OK" was described as an "unplugged dance number with rock sounds". [1] In the lyrics, a girl describes how the man she is in love with is her ideal type—perfect and "okay" in every way. The song was written by Crazy Park (Park Hyun-joong) of the agency Crazy Sound, in collaboration with Shinto and Peter Pan. [2] These songwriters had previously written songs such as "Oppa, You're Mine" and "Oh My God". Choa and Way also took part in the song's production, including concept, costumes, and choreography. [3]
"Let Me Know" is a ballad written by Way, who had previously written songs as a member of indie band N.Dolphin, and the lyrics are based on her and Choa's struggle to become singers. [4] At Strawberry Milk's debut press showcase, Way said, "It was my dream to become a singer since I was young. As I was preparing to become a singer, whenever I experienced hardship, I always prayed to let me know if this is the right path for me. The lyrics are about those prayers." [5]
Strawberry Milk performed "Let Me Know" for the first time at the First Chrome Family in Japan Concert on October 4. Their debut showcase was held on October 15 in Cheongdam, Seoul, and their music show debut stage for "OK" was on M! Countdown on October 16. [6] "OK" was promoted through November on all the major music shows, including The Show , where they were nominated for first place. [7]
The music video for "OK", released on October 15, was directed by Lee Gi Baek. It received one million views on YouTube in less than five days, and ranked high on China's YinYueTai V Chart. [8] [9] The beginning of the music video depicts Choa and Way transforming into Tetris characters and falling into a pink room. In other scenes of the video they are dressed as strawberries or strawberry milk, with oversized forks or straws on their backs. G.Low of K-Much played the "OK" man in the music video. [10] On October 18, a choreography music video for "OK" was released. This video was filmed at a farm, and the twins danced in front of a strawberry greenhouse.
Scott Interrante, writing for PopMatters , described "OK" as an "overly saccharine Hi-NRG dance song filled with cute vocals, adorable imagery, and a biting wit." He said "Hello" and "Let Me Know" showcase the twins' "surprisingly impressive vocals", but "OK" lacks a "distinct personality", and regretted that the sub-unit did not show a different side than they already show with the main group. However, he concluded that the song is "great for what it is" and noted some similarity with J-pop and Orange Caramel's songs. [11]

"Catch Me" is a song by South Korean pop duo TVXQ, also known as Tohoshinki in Japan. Written and produced by Yoo Young-jin, two versions of "Catch Me" exist: the original Korean-language version, which served as the lead single for the duo's sixth Korean studio album Catch Me (2012), and a Japanese-language version, which was released as the fourth and last single for their sixth Japanese studio album, Time (2013). The Korean version of "Catch Me" was made available for download on September 24, 2012, the same date as the full album's digital release. The Japanese version of "Catch Me" was released by Avex Trax in Japan as TVXQ's 36th Japanese CD single on January 16, 2013.
Crayon Pop (Korean: 크레용팝) is a South Korean girl group formed under Chrome Entertainment in 2012. The group consisted of four members: Geummi, Ellin, Choa, and Way. Their fifth member, Soyul, left the group in 2017.
Jeon Won Diary is the debut extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group T-ara N4, a sub-unit of T-ara. It was released on April 29, 2013, and was promoted by the lead single of the same name. The song was written and produced by Duble Sidekick, with additional arrangement by Hwang Ho-jin. It features a guest verse from Speed's rapper, Woo Tae-woon. Musically, "Jeon Won Diary" is a dance-pop song with elements of hip-hop, while the lyrics are about wanting to escape from the day-to-day routine.

"Bar Bar Bar" is the second single album, and fourth single overall by Crayon Pop. It was released digitally on June 20, 2013 by Chrome Entertainment and distributed by CJ E&M Music. "Bar Bar Bar" became a viral hit in late July, eventually reaching number one on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100 chart and number three on the Gaon Digital Chart.
"Lonely Christmas" is the third single album, and fifth single overall by Crayon Pop. It was released on November 26, 2013 by Chrome Entertainment and Sony Music. The song was a Christmas follow-up to the successful "Bar Bar Bar". Pops in Seoul described it as "a dance song with funk and disco sounds".
"Uh-ee" is the fourth single album, and sixth single overall by Crayon Pop. It was released on April 1, 2014, by Chrome Entertainment and Sony Music, and was written by Kang Jin Woo of Dumb & Dumber, the producers behind Crayon Pop's first three singles. The song is an electro house dance song mixed with trot music.
"I Won't Let You Down" is a song by American rock band OK Go that was released as a single in December 8, 2014, and is part of their album Hungry Ghosts. The accompanying video, released on October 27, 2014, is a one-shot take recorded in double time showing the band members and several hundred dancers on personal transportation devices performing intricate choreographed routines while filmed by a camera on a multirotor aerial drone.

The album was the group's most successful to date, debuting at number six on the Gaon Album Chart and selling more than 13,000 units. Musically, the album is a mix of genres including R&B, hip hop, and funk.
