John David Jackson, better known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American rapper. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition for his ability upon performing live on DJ Clue's Hot 97 radio show. Jackson then signed to Clue's record label Desert Storm Records, in a joint venture with Elektra Records. Jackson first gained mainstream prominence for his debut studio album Ghetto Fabolous (2001), which spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" and "Young'n ." His second album, Street Dreams (2003) was further commercially-oriented, supported by the singles "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You" ; both of which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
Anthony Cruz, better known by his stage name AZ, is an American rapper known for being a longtime and frequent music partner of East Coast rapper Nas and also a member of hip hop group The Firm alongside Nas, Foxy Brown, Cormega and Nature. Online magazine About.com listed AZ as the "Most Underrated [Rapper] of All Time". AZ also made it onto the sites' "Top 50 MCs of Our Time (1987–2007)", where he was reiterated as "arguably the most underrated lyricist ever".

Lloyd Polite Jr. is an American R&B singer. Born in New Orleans and raised in Decatur, he initially began his musical career as a member of the preteen-boy band N-Toon. The band disbanded in 2001 and Polite embarked on a solo career in 2003. He subsequently signed a record deal with American music executive Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records, under the aegis of Def Jam Recordings. In 2004, Polite released his solo debut single "Southside", the title-track from his debut album, Southside (2004). The single quickly charted on the US Billboard Hot 100, and became a top 40 hit. His second album Street Love, was released in 2007 and featured the top 20 hits "You" and "Get It Shawty".
Paid tha Cost to Be da Boss is the sixth studio album by American rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released on November 26, 2002, by his Doggystyle label, alongside Priority and Capitol Records. Following his departure from the No Limit Records, he later signed a recording contract to Capitol through Priority Records. The album was supported by two singles, both featuring Pharrell: "From tha Chuuuch to da Palace" and "Beautiful", the latter also featuring Charlie Wilson.
No-Man are an English art pop duo, formed in 1987 as No Man Is an Island (Except the Isle of Man) by singer Tim Bowness and multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson. The band has so far produced seven studio albums and a number of singles/outtakes collections (most notably, 2006's career retrospective, All the Blue Changes). The band was once lauded as "conceivably the most important English group since The Smiths" by Melody Maker music newspaper, and a 2017 article of Drowned in Sound described them as "probably the most underrated band of the last 25 years".

Needtobreathe is an American rock band from Seneca, South Carolina. The group first gained fame for their Christian themes, eventually reaching crossover success. The band is composed of Bear Rinehart, Seth Bolt, Josh Lovelace, Randall Harris and Tyler Burkum (guitar). To date, the band has released ten studio albums: The Feature (2001), Daylight (2006), The Heat (2007), The Outsiders (2009), The Reckoning (2011), Rivers in the Wasteland (2014), HARD LOVE (2016), Out of Body (2020), Into the Mystery (2021), and Caves (2023); five of those albums have reached No. 1 on the Christian Albums chart. "Groovin'" is a song written by the American singer songwriters Felix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, initially recorded by their group the Young Rascals in 1967. Cavaliere was inspired to compose the song by his girlfriend Adrienne Buccheri, whom he only got to meet every Sunday amidst heavy touring and recording. Musically, the song differs from most of band's previous output, leaving the garage rock genre for Latin American influences, such as baião. Lyrically, "Groovin'" tells the tale of a narrator spending time with his partner on a Sunday afternoon. The song was arranged and recorded at the Talentmasters Studios, New York City in March of 1967.
Tales from the Crypt is the second full-length studio album by American rapper C-Bo. It was released on June 15, 1995, via AWOL Records. Production was handled by Mike Mosley, Sam Bostic, DJ Daryl, Rodney, D-Wiz and Troy-B, with Barbara Shannon serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from Marvaless, Mississippi, Snap and Tuna Bug. The album debuted at number 99 on the Billboard 200 and number four on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the United States. Along with a single, a music video was produced for the song "Birds in the Kitchen". West Coast Mafia Records, C-Bo's own label, reissued the album in 2002.

The Final Chapter is the fifth studio album by American rapper C-Bo, released March 9, 1999 on AWOL Records. It peaked at number 81 on the Billboard 200 and at number 20 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The album was released after C-Bo had left AWOL Records and is composed of unreleased music C-Bo recorded while on the label. It was his last album of new material released on AWOL, hence the title, The Final Chapter.

Production was handled by D-Wiz, DJ Daryl, Dr. Bumpinstein, Pizzo, Skills, The Boogie Man, Troy-B and WCM, with Freddie "T" Smith serving as executive producer. It features guest appearances from 151, Blacc, C-Bo, JT the Bigga Figga, Killa Tay, Laroo T.H.H., Levitti, Lil Ric, Marvaless, Pizzo, Probable Cauze, Thug Misses and Ephriam Galloway. The album debuted at number 92 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in the United States. Its only single, "Hard Times", which peaked at No. 8 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The song peaked at #8 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart, making it both C-bo and Mississippi's only charting single to date. The album features guest performances by Spice 1, E-40, Big Syke, Outlawz and X-Raided, as well as labelmates Killa Tay and Lunasicc. Mob Figaz made their first appearance on the album.

Enemy of the State was C-Bo's first album on his new label, West Coast Mafia, after leaving AWOL Records, which he did after the release of Til My Casket Drops. The album features guest performances by WC, Daz Dillinger, Killa Tay, Yukmouth, CJ Mac and Too Short. Along with a single, a music video was produced for the song, "Get The Money".
Hush! is the fifth album by American pianist and arranger Duke Pearson recorded in 1962 and released on the short-lived Jazzline label in 1962 as The Duke Pearson Quintet. Hush! features performances by an unusual quintet featuring two trumpeters, Donald Byrd, and Johnny Coles. The album was later reissued on the Polydor label and in 1989 released on CD under Byrd's & Coles' name on the Black Lion label as Groovin' for Nat with additional takes and unissued tracks. It has been subsequently released on other labels, particularly under Donald Byrd's name. It was released on digital media by the Blue Velvet label as "Duke Pearson: Hush", including the bonus tracks, in 2017.
