The Bride Show is the leading [1] annual wedding event [2] in the Middle East, comprising The Bride Show Abu Dhabi [3] [4] [5] and The Bride Show Dubai. More than 300 exhibitors participates in the show annually. The main exhibitors are fashion designer, hairstylists, cosmetologists and wedding planners. Apart from these some other exhibitors are show photographers, florists, wedding coordinators, professionals of wedding dresses & gowns and professionals of Fashion accessories, Bakeries, Banking, Beauty & Skin Care and Bridal Fashion. It is organised by Informa Exhibitions.

The Bride Show Abu Dhabi

The Bride Show Abu Dhabi [6] is a consumer event primarily for affluent Emirati women who are brides-to-be and their families, as well as Middle Eastern women; and fashionistas who enjoy fashion, beauty and style. [7] The Bride Show Abu Dhabi attracted 14,949 consumers in 2011. [8] [9] It is highly established as the largest gathering of women, in the region, who are either planning their wedding or are interested in fashion, beauty and style. It is held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. [10]

The Bride Show Dubai

The Bride Show Dubai [11] showcases bridal couture from international brands at its fashion show including events like marriage guidance, cooking shows and parlor treatments to go with the wedding theme. [12] Over 20,000 visitors [13] participate in the Bride Show Dubai. The show includes exhibition of Bridal Accessories, Jewellery, Bridal gowns, groom's wear, Hair Services & Products and shoes, wedding stationery, bags and magazines. It is held at the Dubai International Convention Centre. [14] [15]

Iraqis in the United Arab Emirates have a population exceeding 100,000, closer estimates report a total of 150,000 Iraqis in the Emirates. Since its independence, Iraqis have contributed in the development of UAE, as engineers, politicians and in other fields. Most notably Adnan Pachachi who was appointed as Minister of State in the first Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Pachachi is known for his role in submitting the UAE's application for membership in the United Nations. In a meeting with Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated that "Iraqis have contributed in building the UAE, and there are many of them who worked, built, developed and helped build the Emirates, and we mention this credit to them, whether engineers, doctors, or even politicians and others. There are still many Iraqis living in the UAE, and they are credited.”
