The Crimson Armada was an American metalcore/deathcore band formed in Westerville, Ohio in 2007 by Kyle Barrington and David Puckett. [4] [5] Following a one-year hiatus in 2008, the band returned to increased popularity, [4] releasing its first EP, Behold the Architect. [6] Following the release of Behold the Architect, the Crimson Armada signed a record deal with Metal Blade Records. In July 2009, the band released its debut album, Guardians . [4] Following the album's release, the band went on several tours with acts such as the Chariot, and MyChildren MyBride. In mid-2010 the group headed out on the Scream the Prayer Tour. [7] [8]

In January 2011, Crimson Armada signed a record deal with Artery Recordings, [9] and announced Conviction , which was released June 21, 2011. [10] Conviction contained guest vocalist contributions by Andy Adkins of A Plea for Purging and Levi Benton of Miss May I. That April, the band performed at the 13th annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. [11] In February 2012, Brandon McMaster left the band and was replaced by Cye Marshall. [12] [13] On October 29, 2012, the band announced that they would be disbanding due to their lead vocalist, Saud Ahmed, leaving the band. [14]

In June 2024, on the 15th anniversary of their debut album "Guardians," it was announced that Metal Blade Records had licensed rights to Deathly Decibels Records to press "Guardians" on vinyl with both the original cover art, and a limited edition alternative ("alt") cover. [15] Pre-orders went live on June 14th, 2024 and sold out within one hour. [16] Due to popular demand, Deathly Decibels Records announced on June 22, 2024 that Metal Blade "happily obliged" to a second run vinyl pressing of Guardians. The second run goes live for pre-orders on June 24, 2024. [17]

Calculating Infinity is the band's only full-length album to feature original vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, who left the band in 2001.

Bloodlust is the debut studio album by American deathcore band Through the Eyes of the Dead, released on October 25, 2005 through Prosthetic Records. After releasing an EP and a split, Through the Eyes of the Dead released Bloodlust. The album is considered a deathcore album with elements of melodic death metal, featuring a musical style similar to bands like At the Gates and The Black Dahlia Murder. Before the deathcore label existed, Bloodlust was labeled as metalcore due to its combination of melodic death metal with occasional hardcore breakdowns, which resembled metalcore. Bloodlust's lyrics were inspired by serial killers, and depicted poetic lyrics telling stories and imagery. Through the Eyes of the Dead cited Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Death, In Flames, At the Gates and Dark Tranquility as influences.

Impending Doom is an American Christian deathcore band from Riverside, California. The group has released six full-length studio albums and are currently a four piece with lead vocalist Brook Reeves as one of the two original remaining members along with Manny Contreras who left the band in 2010 but returned in 2012. The band refers to their style of music as "gorship" - a portmanteau of the words gore and worship.

Starkweather is an American heavy metal band from Philadelphia formed in 1989. MyChildren MyBride is an American metalcore band from Madison, Alabama. The group originally signed with Solid State Records after extensive constant touring, including various dates in European countries. After spending seven years and releasing three full-length albums with Solid State, MyChildren MyBride signed with eOne/Good Fight Music.

Early Graves was an American extreme metal band that included aspects of hardcore, metalcore, thrash metal, crust punk, and sludge metal in their music. The band formed in 2007; members had previously been in tech metal band Apiary. They toured the U.S. extensively with The Handshake Murders, Gaza, The Funeral Pyre and Unearth, amongst many others. Their debut album We: The Guillotine was released worldwide August 19, 2008, on Ironclad/Metal Blade Records. On June 22, 2010, they released a second album, Goner. The band disbanded following a performance at the Decibel Metal & Beer Festival on December 10, 2021.

Harm's Way is an American hardcore punk band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2006. The band started as a side project, but ended up becoming a more serious and full-time band in their later years. Harm's Way has since released four studio albums: Reality Approaches (2009), Isolation (2011) and Rust (2015) and several EPs. On February 9, 2018, the band released their critically acclaimed Metal Blade Records debut, titled Posthuman. They have been recognized for their unique blend of metal, industrial, and hardcore music.

Behold the Kingdom was an American Christian metal and Christian hardcore band, and they primarily played deathcore, metalcore, and hardcore punk. They come from Sidney, Ohio. The band started making music in 2009, and their membership was lead vocalist, Josh Moon, lead guitarists, Riley Snyder and Derrik Young, bassist, Mark Baker, and drummer, Cliff Deweese. Their first studio album, The Eyes of the Wicked Will Fail, was released by Rottweiler Records, in 2011, which was the only album from the band, who disbanded in 2013.

My Place Was Taken is a deathcore and hardcore punk band that originated out of Matamoros, Mexico. The band originated in 2014 and signed to Rottweiler Records in 2017.
