The Delta Saints was an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The band consisted of Ben Ringel (vocals and guitar), Dylan Fitch (guitar), David Supica (bass), Vincent Williams (percussion), and Nate Kremer (keyboards).
The band was formed in 2007 after Ben Ringel and David Supica met at Belmont University and began creating music together. [1] [2]
The band independently produced their first work, the EPs Pray On (in 2009) [3] and A Bird Called Angola (in 2010). [4]
Despite their increased success, the band decided to go on a little hiatus to pursue “other muses” that they’ve been wanting to chase, and other life stuff outside of music, like having kids and enjoying their marriages. Musically, Ringel hopes to work on more indie rock projects. Their drummer is working on producing a project with electronic/hip hop-type music. [5]
The band began touring internationally throughout North America and Europe in 2011. [6] They appeared on German television in October 2011 in Rockpalast, performing in Bonn. [7] [8] A DVD of their concert in Bonn was later released in 2012. [9]
The France-based blues label Dixiefrog Records combined the two EPs into one self-titled album, The Delta Saints, released in 2011. [10]
The band released Death Letter Jubilee in February 2013. [11] The album was financed through crowdfunding using Kickstarter. [12]
The Delta Saints played as the opening band for Blackberry Smoke in 2014, whilst promoting the Death Letter Jubilee album. [13] The tour with Blackberry Smoke included Orlando, Florida (USA). [14]
In 2014, they released another EP, called Drink it Slow, [15] and a live record, Live at Exit/In, which was recorded in two days at Exit/In in Nashville. [16] [17] In 2015, the band released the studio album Bones through Loud & Proud Records. [18] [19]
In September 2015 they toured Europe again. [20]
The band independently released the album Monte Vista on April 28, 2017. [21] Monte Vista was recorded in six days at the Sound Emporium in Nashville and was produced by Eddie Spear. The band also partnered with PledgeMusic for the release. [22]
Andreas Schiffman from musikreviews.de wrote: "the music of these young men sounded positively old". [23] During a 2015 interview on the CBC program Studio Q, singer-songwriter Chrissie Hynde praised the group after touring with them in the USA, describing them as "the best band I've heard in ten years". Jochen v. Arnim (Rock Times) describes their style as blues, soul and roots. [25]
The band says their style is influenced by Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers. [26]

Rockpalast is a German music television show that broadcasts live on German television station Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR). Rockpalast started in 1974 and continues to this day. Hundreds of rock, heavy metal and jazz bands have performed on Rockpalast. Some acts were recorded for broadcast and for retail sale. All-night marathon shows called “Rock Night” (Rocknacht) were produced once or twice a year from 1977 through 1986 and simulcast throughout Europe via the Eurovision network of TV broadcasters, thereby reaching around 25 million listeners on average. Rockpalast is involved in several German pop, rock and underground music festivals, once sponsoring the Bizarre-Festival.

"Susie Q" is a song by musician Dale Hawkins recorded late in the rockabilly era in 1957. Young Guns are an English alternative rock band from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The members, working with each other in various musical interests throughout the 2000s, formally formed the band in 2008, and rose to prominence after their debut EP, Mirrors, earned them spots opening live shows for Bon Jovi and Guns N' Roses. Their debut album, All Our Kings Are Dead, on 12 July 2010. Their second album, Bones, was released in February 2012. Live at Montreux 1986 is a concert film featuring the British blues rock guitarist and singer Eric Clapton. The video release consists of live footage that was recorded while Eric Clapton and his band played for over one and a half hours at the 1986 Montreux Jazz Festival. The set list includes Clapton's signature songs such as "I Shot the Sheriff," "Cocaine," "Layla" and "Let It Rain" as well as his Cream-era hits "Crossroads," "White Room," "Badge" and "Sunshine of Your Love." Drummer Phil Collins also sang his 1981 hit "In the Air Tonight." The video taping was released on 19 September 2006 on DVD format. A Blu-ray disc was also released in 2014. The release was mildly successful and it gained critical praise and various music recording certification awards around the world.
The Wild Feathers are an American country rock band formed in 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States, by Ricky Young, Joel King, and Taylor Burns, all of whom were lead singers in previous bands. Drummer Ben Dumas joined the band following the release of their debut album in the Summer of 2013. Multi-instrumentalist Brett Moore began touring with the band in 2015 and recording with the band for 2018's "Greetings From The Neon Frontier" album.
