The Egg are a British electronic dance music band, consisting of Ned Scott (keyboards), Maff Scott (drums), Paul Marshall (bass) and Matt White (lead guitar). [1]
Founded in the early 1990s in Oxford, England, the Egg released its first EP Shopping (1995) on the independent record label, Cup of Tea Records. [1] Having been signed by China Records, in 1996 the band released the album Albumen in the United States on Discovery Records in 1997. [1] In 1998, the follow-up album, Travelator, was released, produced by Tim Holmes of Death in Vegas. [1] In 2000, the group recorded the theme tune to the ITV series, At Home with the Braithwaites .
Following Travelator, the Egg began exploring the new directions. Following their Mellowmania EP in 2002, they were signed by Bar de Lune Records, a subsidiary of Beechwood Music. Beechwood folded the following year just before a return with their new album, Forwards, (produced by Benji Vaughan) and subsequently released on Squarepeg Records in 2004.
The single "Walking Away" (featuring Sophie Barker of Zero 7 fame) was released in 2005, and further remixes commissioned by licensees. This became a crossover hit, and spawned the bootleg by David Guetta, "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)", to reach #3 in the UK Singles Chart in August 2006. [2]
In 2006, the Egg played at The Big Chill, Bestival, Glastonbury, and other venues across Europe. The following year saw more UK music festivals appearances.
In 2007 the band toured Australia and Brazil for the first time playing most major cities in each.
In 2008 the Egg contributed the song "Trails and Tribulations" to the Songs for Survival Survival International charity album, and later in the year they played at Camp Bisco 7 in Mariaville, NY. They also toured the U.S. extensively in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
Continued live performances have seen the Egg play at venues and festivals across the UK and the globe and as Glastonbury stalwarts, 2023 saw the Egg headline the Glade stage on the Saturday night of the festival.
Space are a band from Liverpool, England, who formed in 1992 initially as a trio of Tommy Scott, Jamie Murphy and Jamie Island (drums), who was later replaced by Andy Parle in 1993. Keyboard player Franny Griffiths joined the line-up a year later, and the band signed to Gut Records in 1995, eventually rising to prominence with hit singles such as "Female of the Species", "Me and You Versus the World", "Neighbourhood", "Avenging Angels" and "The Ballad of Tom Jones", the latter a duet with Cerys Matthews of Catatonia.
Deacon Blue are a Scottish pop rock band formed in Glasgow during 1985. The line-up of the band consists of vocalists Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh, keyboard player James Prime and drummer Dougie Vipond. The band released their debut album, Raintown, on 1 May 1987 in the United Kingdom and in the United States in February 1988. Their second album, When the World Knows Your Name (1989), topped the UK Albums Chart for two weeks, and included "Real Gone Kid" which became their first top ten single in the UK Singles Chart and reached number one in Spain. Deacon Blue followed up their success with their third album Fellow Hoodlums (1991) and the release of their fourth album, Whatever You Say, Say Nothing (1993).

Six of their singles have charted on the UK singles chart, with "Blossoms Falling" (1999) peaking at #39.

Guetta was voted the number one DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs polls in 2011, and throughout 2020 until 2023. In 2013, Billboard ranked his song "When Love Takes Over" as the number one dance-pop collaboration ever.

Catalogue is a greatest hits album by English-Irish electronic music duo Moloko. It was released on 17 July 2006 by The Echo Label. Spanning two discs, Catalogue contains Moloko's singles and a track exclusive to this compilation, "Bankrupt Emotionally". The second disc contains a live recording of a concert recorded in 2003 at Brixton Academy, at the end of the band's eight-month tour performed that year. The US version does not contain the second disc. For US listeners, this was their first time hearing most of the songs on this album, as aside from the entirety of the first album and "Sing it Back," the only other Moloko track released in the US was "Indigo" on the Mystery Men soundtrack.
"Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)" was released as a mash-up of DJ Tocadisco's remix of The Egg's single "Walking Away" with the vocals of Chris Willis from David Guetta's 2002 single "Love Don't Let Me Go". The mash-up was first performed live by French DJ and Guetta's production partner Joachim Garraud, though several people claimed to have done it before. It was featured in an advert for the Citroën C4, and peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart, Guetta's first top ten hit in that country. It was released as the single of Guetta's 2006 compilation album Fuck Me I'm Famous - Ibiza Mix 06 and also features on the 2007 Reissue Edition of Guetta Blaster and as the bonus track of Guetta's third studio album Pop Life.
Ev'rything's Coming Up Dusty is the second studio album by singer Dusty Springfield, released on Philips Records in the UK in 1965. Springfield's 1964 debut album, A Girl Called Dusty, sold well enough to make her Philips Records' top-selling female artist. For this, her second album, Philips presented it in a gatefold sleeve and included extensive liner notes. While including a number of fairly standard "pop" songs, Ev'rything's Coming Up Dusty also saw Springfield venturing more into show tunes like "Who Can I Turn To ?" as well as the soul music for which Springfield became so well known for singing. "Doodlin'" and "That's How Heartaches Are Made" were minor hits for Baby Washington, one of Springfield's personal favourite singers. Springfield also included the song "La Bamba", which was a popular concert number for her, though not in step with the general style of the album. The album gave Dusty another chart success peaking at No.6 on the UK Charts and No.4 on the NME charts that following month.

Fuck Me I'm Famous is a series of electronic dance music compilation albums by the French DJ David Guetta. His now ex-wife Cathy Guetta collaborated in the production. The first album in the series was released in 2003. The albums have traditionally been released during the summer months of their respective years.
"When Love Takes Over" is a song by French DJ and record producer David Guetta featuring vocals by American singer Kelly Rowland, from Guetta's fourth studio album, One Love (2009). It was released as the lead single from the album on 21 April 2009 by Virgin Records. The song was conceived when Guetta played the instrumental version during one of his DJ sets in summer 2008; American recording artist Kelly Rowland, who fell in love with the track, convinced Guetta to allow her to take it so that she could write and record vocals for it. It was co-written by Nervo.

Bizu has garnered mainstream radio support from BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac and Phil Taggart and BBC Radio 1Xtra's Trevor Nelson. She has supported Coldplay, Sam Smith, Rudimental, and Foxes. In November 2015, Bizu was shortlisted for a Brit Critics' Choice award and longlisted for BBC's Sound of... 2016. She won the BBC Music Introducing Award at the 2016 ceremony. On 25 June 2016, Bizu performed on the Park Stage at the Glastonbury Festival.
