The Five-Star Weekend is an upcoming television series starring Jennifer Garner, Chloe Sevigny and Regina Hall. It is adapted from the novel of the same name for streaming service Peacock.

Development

The series is an adaptation of the Elin Hilderbrand novel of the same name, with Bekah Brunstetter creating, writing and executive producing the series. Beth Schacter also joined as an executive producer and writer. Sue Naegle and Ali Krug executive produce via Dinner Party Productions, with Hilderbrand also executive producing. The series is for studio Universal Content Productions with whom Dinner Party Productions have an overall deal. [2]

Casting

Jennifer Garner is an executive producer and leads the cast. [3] In June 2025, Regina Hall, Chloe Sevigny, Gemma Chan, Timothy Olyphant and D'Arcy Carden were cast as series regulars. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] The cast also includes Harlow Jane as part of the starring cast, with David Denman, Josh Hamilton, and Rob Huebel to recur. [9] In July 2025, Judy Greer, West Duchovny, and Tory Devon Smith joined the cast in recurring capacities. [10] In August 2025, Henry Eikenberry and Roberta Colindrez were cast in recurring roles. [11]

Filming

Filming took place on a sound stage in Los Angeles in 2025, with a request from the production to also film on Nantucket in September. [12] [13] Filming took place in September 2025 on Nantucket. [14]

It is set to stream on Peacock. [15]
