The G Filez is the third album by Vallejo, California rapper, Celly Cel. The album was released in 1998 and was Celly Cel's last studio album for Jive Records. This album was his first since Killa Kali. [2] However, he appeared on multiple artist records such as Young Dre, D-Shot, B-Legit, Latino Velvet, and Messy Marv. [2] Although not as successful as his previous album, Killa Kali , the album peaked at #53 on the Billboard 200 and #17 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop album chart. The album spawned three singles, "Fuck tha World", Get a Real Job" and "Pop the Trunk". Guests include Silkk the Shocker, UGK, Mack 10, Rappin' 4-Tay and E-40.

The Mossie was an American rap group from Vallejo, California, with members: Kaveo, Mugzi and Tap Dat Ass. They first appeared together on E-40's 1993 EP, The Mail Man. Otis & Shugg are an American singing duo from Oakland, California, with two members: Otis Cooper and Rafael "Shugg" Howell. The album would not see the light of day until ten years later. Meanwhile, the duo appeared on several Bay Area hip hop albums, including extensive work by Ant Banks: The Big Badass, Big Thangs, The Element of Surprise, Derty Werk, Hempin' Ain't Easy and Lead the Way.

Baller's Lady is the debut studio album by American rapper Passion. It was released on August 27, 1996, through MCA Records. Production was handled by Kirv, Mark C. Henry and Studio Ton. The album was a commercial failure and only made it to #85 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, causing MCA to drop her from the label.

Marcellus McCarver, better known by his stage name Celly Cel, is an American rapper from Vallejo, California. He released his first single, "Lifestyle of a Mack", on his independent record label Realside Records in 1992. He released his debut studio album, Heat 4 Yo Azz, in 1994, and released a second album, Killa Kali, a year later.
