<i>Eat Me, Drink Me</i> 2007 studio album by Marilyn Manson

Eat Me, Drink Me is the sixth studio album by American rock band Marilyn Manson. It was released on June 5, 2007 by Interscope Records. It was recorded in a rented home studio in Hollywood by lead vocalist Marilyn Manson and guitarist and bassist Tim Sköld, and was produced by Manson and Sköld. It was the band's first album not to be recorded as a five-piece, as John 5 departed from the group in 2004. Instead of replacing 5, Tim Sköld remained with bass and played guitar, and the band continued as a four-piece. Manson has stated that he sang most of the album lying down on the studio floor with his hands cupping the studio microphone, resulting in a very distinctive vocal sound. Of Sköld's compositions, a further two are said to have been turned into fully-fledged songs with lyrics, music and vocals completed but were not put onto album for fear of making it overwrought.

New York City (Emigrate song) 2007 single by Emigrate

"New York City" is the first single by industrial metal band Emigrate. The promo version of the single has an alternative cover. Richard, in the music video, can be seen walking through New York City and sitting down and singing. The song has been credited by many as a phenomenon, as Richard Kruspe does not show his guitar skills, like he does with Rammstein, but now sings as the main vocalist and does what Till Lindemann states as "[An] incredible job at singing and makes the song perfect in every way, who would have known my fellow German guitarist would now be singing in great American dialect, I'm very proud of Rick".

In December 1999, Icelandic avant-pop singer Björk and acclaimed British string ensemble the Brodsky Quartet gave two intimate, stand-alone concerts at London’s historic Union Chapel. Björk sang a collection of songs from her first three studio albums, Debut, Post, and Homogenic, all newly arranged for string quartet by the Brodsky, plus covers of songs by Elvis Costello and Petula Clark, among others. The two concerts, held on 9 and 11 December 1999, were critically praised by the London press but have never received an official release outside of a small selection of performances found on Björk’s 2002 box set, Family Tree.
