The Journey is the first studio album by Nigerian Afro Pop artist Sean Tizzle. It was released on April 17, 2014 on Difference Entertainment. [1] [2] which was released in 2014. The album features guest appearances from Olamide, Reminisce, 9ice, Ice Prince, Naeto C, Kcee and Tiwa Savage. The album was supported by four official singles— "Mama Eh", "Komole", "Kilogbe" and "Kilogbe (Remix)" along with the promotional singles "Mama Eh".

Background

On April 17, 2013 Sean Tizzle began to releasing video blogs titled "TEAR RUBBER - SEAN TIZZLE - SHO LEE" through the Nigezie TV Channel. [3]

Singles

The album's first promotional single, "Mama Eh" was released on 5 July 2013. [4] On 17 September 2013, the music video was released for "Mama Eh" [5]

The Headies 2013 was the 8th edition of The Headies. It was held on 26 December 2013, at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos. The show was hosted by Tiwa Savage and Dr SID. Olamide was the biggest awardee of the night, winning three awards from seven nominations. Phyno won the Best Rap Single category for his song "Man of the Year". D'Tunes, Praiz, and Blackmagic all won for the first time. Sean Tizzle won the Next Rated category and was later awarded a Hyundai Tucson. Davido took home two awards, including Best R&B/Pop Album for Omo Baba Olowo. Iyanya only received one award from five nominations. Veteran Fuji artist Wasiu Ayinde Marshall was inducted into the Headies Hall of Fame. 2 Face Idibia, Banky W., Waje, Nikki Laoye, Mode 9, Dr SID and Kcee all went home with a plaque. Harrysong's tribute song to Nelson Mandela, titled "Mandela", won the Most Downloaded Callertune award.

The 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards took place on 31 August 2014, at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The eligibility period was from March 2013 to March 2014. In April 2014, the NEA reviewing committee began collecting submissions for the 2014 edition. The deadline for submission was April 30, 2014, and the nominations were announced on May 29, 2014. Tiwa Savage and Davido received the most nominations with 5 each. Don Jazzy, Flavour N'abania and Wizkid all got four nominations each, while Olamide, Patoranking, Chidinma and Oritse Femi followed closely with three nominations.

Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike Ezege, who is known professionally as Phyno, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. "Ojuelegba" is a song by Nigerian singer Wizkid from his self-titled second studio album, Ayo (2014). Written by Wizkid and produced by the record producing duo Legendury Beatz, the song emphasizes Wizkid's hardships as an underground artist who wandered the streets of Ojuelegba to finance his recording ambition. Its title is derived from the metropolitan area of Lagos Mainland. "Ojuelegba" received numerous airplay on all major radio stations in Nigeria, and peaked at number one on Capital Xtra's Afrobeats Chart for February 2015.

He was affiliated with Made Men Music Group and currently has a record label called Difference Entertainment. He is known for producing for Iyanya and Sean Tizzle and the hit singles "Kukere" and "Sho Lee" by them. He has won several awards including The Headies 2013 for Producer of the Year.
