The Korea Transport Institute (KOTI) is a think tank under the Prime Minister's Office in South Korea. Commissioned research is by order of the Ministry of Land,Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and local government. It relocated to the Sejong National Research Complex in Sejong City in December 2014. [1]
KOTI was founded through Article 32 of the Civil Act in November 1985 [2] and official began operation August 1987 under article 24 of the Urban Traffic Readjustment Promotion Act. [3] In 1999 it joined the National Research Council for Economics,Humanities,and Social Sciences (NRCS) [4] [5] and moved to the Construction &Transport Research Complex in Goyang City until it moved to Sejong City in December 2014. As of December 2017,the current president is OH Jaehak [6] and is the 14th president of KOTI. The position was previously held by LEE Chang Woon.
KOTI consists of 300 personnel of which 230 are in research positions and a total of 99 are Ph.D. holders. Under the president are nine departments with 22 divisions. Researcher exchange programs exist with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD),Asian Development Bank (ADB),and the World Bank.
Gwacheon is a city in Gyeonggi Province,South Korea. It lies close to Seoul in the heart of the Seoul National Capital Area,and also lies just east of Anyang. Seoul Subway Line 4 passes through the city.
The Korea Forest Service is a central administrative agency under the Ministry of Agriculture,Food and Rural Affairs (MAFR),responsible for protecting and nurturing forests,increasing forest resources,developing forest products,conducting research on forest management and improvement,and is located in Daejeon Government Complex. The Sejong National Research Complex is a campus of four research buildings housing ten research institutes. Institutes started to relocate to the complex in 2014. It neighbors the Korea Institute of Public Finance,Korea Legislation Research Institute,and the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements and is approximately 1.6 kilometers away from the Korea Development Institute.

Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency,formerly Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,is an organization under the South Korean Ministry of Welfare and Health that is responsible for the advancement of public health by managing prevention,survey,quarantine,trial,and research on infectious diseases,chronic and rare illnesses and injuries. It was founded in December 2003 and is located in Osong Health Technology Administration Complex in Cheongju. The organization is led by the vice-ministerial-level Commissioner of KDCA.
Korea Labour Institute (Korean: 한국노동연구원),or shortly KLI,is a governmental organisation that focuses about labour issues and policies. The organisation was inaugurated on 25 August 1988,and since 2014,it is located in Sejong City. The incumbent president is Bae Kyu-shik.
