The Lady Luck EP is the third EP by American rock band The Cab, released on June 30, 2009. It was released after the band's debut 2008 Whisper War album. The album reached the US Billboard Top Heatseekers albums chart but gained less than moderate success.

Background

The EP features vocals from Cassadee Pope, lead singer of Decaydance band Hey Monday on the track "Take My Hand". The band also covers the song, "I Want to Break Free" by Queen. "I'll Run" has been featured in their previous EP Drunk Love and debut album Whisper War . "Diamonds Are Forever (And Forever Is a Mighty Long Time)" is a B-side of Whisper War and was included on the Japan edition of the album.

The Cab

The Cab is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Their debut album, Whisper War, was released on April 29, 2008. They have been called "The Band You Need to Know 2008" by Alternative Press magazine. They were also featured in the '100 Bands You Need to Know in 2010' by the magazine and were one of the three bands featured on the cover page, along with Never Shout Never and Hey Monday. Their second album Symphony Soldier was released on August 23, 2011, with its first single "Bad" released to iTunes July 11, 2011, and announced by the band on July 18. The Cab funded the entire album by themselves and left their Fueled by Ramen/Decaydance label, self-releasing Symphony Soldier. AbsolutePunk gave an extremely positive review with a rating of 95%, calling the album a "masterpiece". The pre-orders in the band's webstore featured eleven packages, ranging from $10 to $9,999. Symphony Soldier is digitally available on iTunes, and only available as physical CDs from the band's webstore. The band's latest work, an EP titled Lock Me Up, was released on April 29, 2014. They have not released any new material since 2014, leaving the future of the band uncertain.

Whisper War is the debut studio album by American rock band The Cab. It was released on April 29, 2008 by Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance Records. The album was produced by Patrick Stump, who also provides vocals on "Bounce", "One of Those Nights", "I'm a Wonder" and sings backing vocals on other songs. Lead singer Alexander DeLeon's younger sister, Sophia, is the little girl on the album cover.

Hey Monday

Hey Monday is an American rock band from West Palm Beach, Florida, formed in 2008. The band is on a hiatus as of December 2011. They released their debut album Hold On Tight in 2008, which produced the singles "Homecoming" and "How You Love Me Now." The album was followed up with their 2010 EP Beneath It All, which achieved moderate commercial success, and Candles EP in 2011. Their final release, The Christmas EP, was released on December 6, 2011. Hey Monday is on hiatus and claims to not be "broken up". The lead singer Cassadee Pope is now a solo artist.

Cassadee Pope

Cassadee Blake Pope is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. Pope was the lead vocalist of the rock band Hey Monday, with whom she released two studio albums and three EPs. Pope embarked on a solo career in early 2012, and released the EP Cassadee Pope in May 2012. She took part in the third season of The Voice and became the first female winner on December 18, 2012. Her debut solo country album, Frame by Frame, was released on October 8, 2013 to a top 10 Billboard 200 charting. It debuted at No. 1 on Top Country Albums, with 43,000 copies sold in its first week.

Cassadee Pope EP is the debut solo EP by American singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope, the vocalist of pop punk band Hey Monday and winner of season three of NBC's The Voice. It was released digitally on Google Play on May 22, 2012, and was later released on iTunes Store with a digital booklet. Pope went solo after Hey Monday went on an indefinite hiatus in December 2011. Shortly after the hiatus was announced, she played an acoustic tour in the U.S. For the album, Rian Dawson played the drums, Keith Ruddell played the bass, Andrew Dixon and Jason Gavi handling the production duties of the EP.

Summer is the second EP by American singer-songwriter Cassadee Pope, released through Republic Nashville on June 3, 2016. It serves as a prelude to her forthcoming second studio album and follow-up to 2013's chart-topping Frame by Frame. The title track was released as the EP's lead single on the same day and has since reached 55 on Country Airplay.
