Glitz and Glamour is the debut EP by American rock band The Cab.
In an interview with AbsolutePunk Archived 2014-12-01 at the Portuguese Web Archive, vocalist Alexander DeLeon had this to say about the EP: [1]
"When we wrote the Glitz and Glamour EP, I had only been singing for a few weeks. I was just the guitar player before and had never sung in my life and Cash, our bassist, told me to sing because he liked my voice. At the time I was embarrassed and thought he was crazy, but it seemed to have turned out pretty well. The songs on the Glitz EP are so old and even though they hold a special place in our hearts because those were some of the first songs we wrote."

The EP was self-released by the band, and it is now very rare and out of print. The only way to listen to the tracks is to download them from a file sharing service. It was well received by fans, who had been eagerly anticipating a release to accompany the songs on the band's MySpace.
The band's sound has changed since the release of this EP, and the band acknowledges this change. Many fans like the sound from Glitz better than the band's LP, Whisper War , but the band realizes they had to mature at some point. Alex DeLeon had this to say about the change in the band's sound: [1]
"(We) have definitely grown from (the Glitz songs) and our music now is much different. Since then, us and our old guitarist have also gone our separate ways. We are now more soulful and poppy, I think I have finally found my niche and groove in this band and with the songs. Although, the new stuff is way different from our older material, I think that our old fans will still dig it. Like I said before, we just play the music we love and feel and hopefully people like it half as much as we do. I have been listening to a lot of Brian McKnight, Maroon 5, Joss Stone, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, and Robin Thicke lately."

Longtime rhythm guitarist and lyricist Steve Klein left the band in late 2013. In 2011, The Cab released their second studio album, Symphony Soldier. The following year, the group signed with Universal Republic Records. They released the Lock Me Up EP in 2014.
Not Without a Fight is the sixth studio album by American rock band New Found Glory. It was released on March 10, 2009, through independent label Epitaph Records. Produced by Blink-182 singer-bassist Mark Hoppus and recorded at his home based-OPRA Studios, the album was seen as a return to the band's energetic roots in comparison to its predecessor; the mellow Coming Home (2006). Dirty Work is the fourth studio album by American rock band All Time Low. Following the success of Nothing Personal, the band signed to major label Interscope Records in late 2009. After spending sometime writing material in Los Angeles, the band started recording with Mike Green in March 2010. Over the following months the band recorded songs with John Fields, Butch Walker, Matt Squire, David Kahne and U4L. In between sessions, the band embarked on the Bamboozle Roadshow tour. Neal Avron mixed the majority of the album's recordings while Green, Mark Trombino and Chris Lord-Alge each mixed a song. Vocalist/guitarist Alex Gaskarth co-wrote the album's songs with a variety of people, including those who produced a few of the songs. While recording, the album was planned for release in 2010. It was delayed to January 2011, and then to spring. Further recording sessions then took place in November 2010, as well as in January 2011.
Symphony Soldier is the second and most recent studio album by American rock band The Cab. It was self released by the band on August 23, 2011. The Cab first rose to prominence at the peak of the mid-2000s emo pop trend with their debut album Whisper War (2008), which was promoted via national tours with Hey Monday and the Hush Sound. The following year, the band lost two members, including guitarist Ian Crawford and bassist Cash Colligan. In addition, the band soon parted ways with their original label, scene stalwart Fueled by Ramen.
Rocky Loves Emily is an American pop rock band formed in Sterling Heights, Michigan in 2008. As of mid-2012, their lineup consists of vocalist Brandon Ellis, drummer Pete Kalinowski, guitarists Sean Kick and Andrew Stevens, and bassist Stephen Hull. They released an independent EP, The What What What EP, before signing to Tooth & Nail Records and releasing a second EP, American Dream EP and a debut full-length, Secrets Don't Make Friends, which was produced by Matt Grabe and released on April 24, 2012.
The Narrative is an American independent indie rock band from Long Island, New York, formed in 2008. They are currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. Since 2011, the band has consisted of Suzie Zeldin and Jesse Gabriel. Previously, the group featured the drummer Charlie Seich. The group started its musical career with their debut EP Just Say Yes, released in 2008, where "Eyes Closed" stands out as the most popular song with more than four million views on YouTube. Its debut album The Narrative was released in 2010. As well the group release two supporting tour-EP, Nothing Without You in 2010 and Kickstarter in 2011. A follow-up EP b-side compilation album, B-Sides and Seasides was released online in 2012. The Narrative released its second studio album, Golden Silence, on December 2, 2016.
