The World Organization of the Scout Movement is the largest international Scouting organization. WOSM has 174 members. These members are recognized national Scout organizations, which collectively have around 43 million participants. WOSM was established in 1922, and has its operational headquarters at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and its legal seat in Geneva, Switzerland. It is the counterpart of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
Scouts et Guides de France is the largest Scouting and Guiding association in France. It was formed on 1 September 2004 from the merger of two Roman Catholic Scouting organizations: the Guides de France and the Scouts de France. Through Scoutisme Français, SGdF is a member of both WOSM and WAGGGS.

Scouting in Brazil was founded in 1910 and was among the charter members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1922. The União dos Escoteiros do Brasil itself was founded in 1924; it has 62,990 members as of 2021. The association is a member of the Comunidade do Escutismo Lusófono.
Lesotho Scout Association is the national Scouting association of Lesotho. Founded in 1936, it became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1971. Lesotho Scout Association serves 2,630 Boy Scouts as of 2021.

The coeducational Fédération des Scouts de la République démocratique du Congo has 71,486 members as of 2010.
The Confédération Sénégalaise du Scoutisme, the national federation of several Scouting organizations of Senegal, was founded in 1930, and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1963. The coeducational Confédération Sénégalaise du Scoutisme has 9,966 members as of 2011.

The Fédération Nationale des Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses du Luxembourg is one of Luxembourg's Scouting and Guiding organizations. It is a member of the federation Scouting in Luxembourg.

Guiding in Benin started in 1954, the association was founded in 1960 and became a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) in 1963. The girls-only association has 1,533 members. It is affiliated to Scoutisme Béninois, the national member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
Scouting in Mauritius began in 1912 when 17 year old Samuel Blunt de Burgh Edwards formed the first patrol of Scouts in Mauritius and later became the first adult leader. He is regarded as the founder of Scouting in Mauritius. Independent Scout troops were formed across Mauritius. In 1913 The Boy Scouts Association of the United Kingdom formed its Mauritian Local Association and attempted to register the local troops. Separate associations for Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and Hindu Scouts developed, some with connections to organisations in other nations. In 1971 The Mauritius Scout Association was constituted.
The Association des Guides et Scouts d'Europe is a Roman Catholic Scouting and Guiding organization in France. It was founded in 1958 and serves about 26,600 members. The organization was a founding member of the Union Internationale des Guides et Scouts d'Europe and the Conférence Française de Scoutisme.
