The Northshore is a mixed-use building in Austin, Texas that includes 439 residential units [3] and 40,000 square feet of retail and office space. [4] Co-Working company Galvanize occupies the office space in the building. [5] Greystar manages the 439 residential units. [3] As of 2019, the tower stands as the 15th tallest building in Austin, Texas. The building is the tallest apartment building in the city. The Northshore is part of the redevelopment of the former Green Water Treatment Plant site in downtown Austin. [6]

Contents

The tower was originally planned to have a twin on neighboring Block 185, but the plan was reduced in scope to the single tower on Block 1 in 2014. Block 185 began construction in 2019, as a different design.

The Sail @ Marina Bay is a waterfront lifestyle condominium located in the Marina Bay area in Singapore. It was completed in 2008. The first tenants have moved into Central Park Tower in July 2008. Residents moved into Marina Bay Tower a few weeks later. The structure of The Sail is 245 m (804 ft) with 70 storeys and is one of Singapore's tallest condominia/apartment buildings. This development offers panoramic city view of Marina Bay and the sea. It is close to some of Singapore's famous landmarks such as Suntec City, Marina Bay Sands, Esplanade, Telok Ayer Market and the Singapore River. The Downtown MRT station is built a few meters to the West of the building. The building was erected on reclaimed land, and the Central Linear Park is built on the South Side next to the building.

The Austonian is a residential skyscraper in Downtown Austin, Texas, USA. At 683 feet (208 m) tall with 56 floors, the building is the third tallest in Austin, overtaking the 360 Condominiums and behind The Independent and Sixth and Guadalupe. It is also the third tallest building in Texas outside of Houston and Dallas, and the second tallest all-residential building in North America west of the Mississippi River.

The Nishi-Shinjuku 3-Chōme Redevelopment (西新宿三丁目西地区市街地再開発) is a proposed redevelopment project in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The proposal includes 235m tall, 65-storey apartment buildings with a total floor area of 385,000 square metres (4,144,106 sq ft), along with retail on the lower floors. If built they will be the tallest purely residential towers in Japan. As of 2024 the development remains in the planning stage, with its expected completion being in 2029

Riley Towers were conceived as part of an expansive urban renewal project known as Project H. The complex was constructed between 1962 and 1963. Towers I and II have 30 floors and Tower III has 16 floors. Riley Towers I and II are the tallest residential buildings in the state of Indiana. The towers are distinctive for their cantilevered corner balconies.

The Westgate Tower is a mixed-use high-rise building in downtown Austin, Texas. The twenty-six-story 261-foot (80 m) tower block was designed in 1962 and completed in 1966; its name reflects its location across the street from the west gate of the Texas State Capitol. Designed by architect Edward Durell Stone, the tower was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010 and designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 2012.

Tribune East Tower is a 1,442 ft (439.5 m) mixed use supertall tower to be constructed on the eastern edge of the Tribune Tower property, in the Streeterville area of Chicago. The building plans were approved on May 8, 2020. When completed, the tower will be the second-tallest building in Chicago, after the Willis Tower, and one of the tallest buildings in the Western Hemisphere. As of 2023, construction was expected to begin in the first half of 2024 and to be completed by September 2027. However, construction has not yet begun.

Block 185 is an office skyscraper located at 601 W. 2nd St. in Downtown Austin, Texas. The tower topped out in July 2021. The tower is the fourth tallest in Austin at 594 feet, and the tallest office tower in Texas outside of Houston or Dallas. Block 185 is bound to the west by Shoal Creek, to the east by Nueces Street, to the north by Second Street and to the south by Cesar Chavez Street. The tower is located on the final parcel of the former Green Water Treatment Plant and in Austin's Second Street District.

Fifth & West Residences is a 39-story residential skyscraper located at 501 West Ave. in Downtown Austin, Texas. The tower is the twelfth tallest in Austin at 459 feet (140 m). Fifth & West is the fourth tallest all-residential tower in Austin, behind The Independent, The Austonian and 360 Condominiums. The building is located along a Capitol View Corridor, creating a unique triangular tower atop a square podium base. The tower is located in the Shoal Creek floodplain.

The Thomas C. Green Water Treatment Plant was Austin Water Utility's first water treatment plant, and the first to open in Austin, Texas. It closed in 2008 and was redeveloped into multiple skyscrapers by Trammel Crow Company.

Skywaters Residences is a 63-storey mixed-use building under construction in the Downtown Core district of Singapore. The skyscraper is expected to replace Guoco Tower as the tallest building in Singapore upon its completion in 2028. The 305 m (1,001 ft) tall building will house offices, retail stores, residential units and a hotel.
