The Peel Sessions is the second EP by American heavy metal band Prong. It was released in 1990. [2]
Recorded in 1989 and released by Strange Fruit Records, the EP features four tracks: One new song, one from Primitive Origins and two from Force Fed , but produced with a "cleaner" sound.[ citation needed ]
The session was broadcast on February 1, 1989, on "The John Peel Show" on BBC Radio 1.
White Zombie was an American heavy metal band that formed in 1985. Based in New York City, they started as a noise rock band, releasing three EPs and one studio album in that style before changing to a heavy metal-oriented sound that broke them into the mainstream. Thrash metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music characterized by its overall aggression and often fast tempo.
