The Split Program is a split album by German metalcore bands Caliban and Heaven Shall Burn,released on 18 August 2000. "Partisan" is performed by Caliban on the album,but is originally a Heaven Shall Burn composition,while "One More Lie" was composed by Caliban and is covered by Heaven Shall Burn. The intro is a piece of a composition by Wojciech Kilar that is also use in the soundtrack for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Track 6 is an audio clip taken from the 1994 Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction . Caliban have since redone "A Summerdream" (written as "A Summer Dream") and "One More Lie" on 2005's The Split Program II .

Caliban are a German metalcore band from Essen. To date, they have released thirteen studio albums and two EPs, along with two split albums with Heaven Shall Burn.
Heaven Shall Burn is a German extreme metal band from Saalfeld, formed in 1995. The band consists of vocalist Marcus Bischoff, guitarists Maik Weichert and Alexander Dietz, bassist Eric Bischoff and drummer Christian Bass. They are currently signed to Century Media. They have released eight studio albums, as well as a number of other records. One of their albums, Veto, entered the German album charts at number 2 in 2013, with their latest, Of Truth and Sacrifice, reaching number 1.

Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered is the fourth studio album by Swedish black metal band Marduk. It was recorded and mixed at The Abyss in January 1996 and released on July 1 that year by Osmose Productions. It was re-released in digipak format with bonus tracks on June 27, 2006. Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered is the first Marduk album to feature Legion, formerly of Ophthalamia, on vocals and Peter Tägtgren as mixer. This album marked a shift in style for what Marduk are popularly known for; hyper-blast blast beats and furious drum work, sheer brutality over melody, and raw vocals.

Resurrection Fest is a rock music festival that takes place in Viveiro, region of Lugo, Spain. This festival has been held annually since 2006 during July or early August and features mainly heavy metal, hardcore punk and punk rock bands. Since its emergence it has become one of the most important music festivals in Spain due to its genre specialization. In 2013 edition set its record of 33,000 attendees, with a measured socio-economic impact of 3.3 million euros in the region. In 2015, these numbers increased to more than 54,500 people and a 6.15-million euros impact.

Of Truth and Sacrifice is the ninth studio album by German extreme metal band Heaven Shall Burn, released on 20 March 2020 through Century Media Records. The album consists of two parts; volume one titled "Of Truth" with ten tracks and volume two called "Of Sacrifice" with nine tracks. Both parts include all but one original song; on volume two the band covered Nuclear Assault's 1989 song "Critical Mass". At 97 minutes runtime, the band released their longest album to date.
