The second season of the Australian television series The Traitors premiered on Network 10 on 13 August 2023. The season was not won by any player as the remaining traitors, Camille Chicheportich, Sam McGlone and Blake Willoughby, each chose to steal the prize pot.

Production

The second season of The Traitors Australia featured celebrities competing alongside members of the general public.

Format

The contestants arrived at the castle and are referred to as the "Faithful". Among them are the "Traitors", a group of contestants secretly selected by the host, Rodger Corser. Each night, the Traitors would decide who to "murder" and that same contestant would leave the game. After the end of each day, where the contestants participated in various challenges to add money to the prize fund, they would participate in the Round Table, where they must decide who to banish from the game, trying to identify the Traitor.

If all the remaining players are Faithful, then the prize money is divided evenly among them. However, if any Traitors remain, they win the entire pot.

  2. ↑ Following this Banishment, the remaining Traitors were given their final opportunity to invite one Faithful to become a Traitor. Should they accept, they would switch allegiances immediately and become a Traitor.
  3. ↑ Following Sarah's Banishment, the Final 3 traitors participated in the Traitor's Dilemma and were given a choice to either Share or Steal – The Share option would result in either – 1) if all Traitors choose the option, all remaining Traitors would get an equal split of the pot, or 2) If any other Traitor chooses the Steal option, anyone who chooses Share does not win any share of the pot, while the Steal option would result in either – 1) If one Traitor chooses the option, the Traitor would win the entire pot, or 2) If two Traitors choose the option, the Traitors would evenly split the pot, or 3) If all three Traitors choose the option, no Traitor would win any of the prize.
