Meshuggah is a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Umeå in 1987. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist Jens Kidman, guitarists Fredrik Thordendal and Mårten Hagström, drummer Tomas Haake and bassist Dick Lövgren. Since its formation, the band has released nine studio albums, six EPs and eight music videos. Their latest studio album, Immutable, was released in April 2022 via Atomic Fire Records.
The Remixes is the first and only remix album by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, released on 21 October 1997, by Sony Music Colombia. It is composed of remixed versions of tracks from her debut studio album Pies Descalzos, with which she attained Latin American success two years prior. Meshuggah, also known as Psykisk Testbild is the debut EP by Swedish extreme metal band Meshuggah. The three tracks on this EP were later reissued on the compilation Rare Trax. Although the EP is known as Psykisk Testbild, this title is not to be found anywhere on the cover itself. It was released as a 12" vinyl record, limited to 1000 copies, by local record store Garageland in Umeå. This is the only Meshuggah record featuring drummer Niclas Lundgren. Tomas Haake later replaced Lundgren on drums. The track "Cadaverous Mastication" was included on their first studio album, Contradictions Collapse.

Sourya is a French pop band formed in 2005. Sourya "Daddy Sou" (vocals/guitar) is at the origin of the project. After playing in a Parisian band from 1997 to 2005, he began recording demos. In 2005, he met his friends Julien (guitar/programming) and Rudy (bass) at a Paris club called The Shebeen. When going into live performances, he asked them to come. The relative success of their first releases encouraged them to take a drummer, Arnaud, so that the band would appear as a quartet in press shots.

This was expanded with the band and the British lyricist Chris Mosdell for inclusion on the 1979 Yellow Magic Orchestra album Solid State Survivor. In the US and the UK, "Behind the Mask" was released as a single from the album X∞Multiplies in 1980.
