The Ward is a 2000 point and click adventure video game developed by Fragile Bits. It was first published in Croatia under the name Poslanik by LMI, [1] followed by an international release by On-Deck Interactive in January 2001. [2]
The game uses 3D pre-rendered character models over a static, often animated backgrounds. The developer released a demo, which could be found on the CD of the computer magazine Hacker. The development took around 2 years without a budget and the game sold in nearly 300,000 units. [3]
The story follows the fictionalized version of events of the Apollo 19 mission from 1979. Two of the crew member are found dead, with the protagonist, David Walker, finding himself in an extraterrestrial laboratory. Throughout the story, the protagonist realizes he is meant to be the mythical Ward, in order to resolve the conflict between two alien races; the Greys and the Reptillians. [2] He sets out to help humanity from total annihilation, but also aids Greys in their war against their former masters, the reptillians. During the course of the adventure, he uncovers many secrets and histories of the universe.

Croatian website Gamer.hr praised its low system requirements, the story, music and the animations but stated the game was littered with bugs and the movement was badly implemented. It also criticized its ending as rushed, as if it skipped over a certain portion of its story. [6]
The game received mixed reviews upon its international release. Ron Dulin, in his review for GameSpot gave it 6.2 out of 10, praising certain points in its story and gameplay, but criticized the lack of voiceovers, the dated graphics and the lackluster progression of its story. [7] IGN gave a similar opinion, stating that, apart from a neat few locales, it falls short of games like The Longest Journey due to the relatively low production values. It, however, praised its soundtrack and gameplay as entertaining, giving the entire package 6.4 out of 10. [8] PC Zone gave it 5.1 out of 10, mostly criticizing its outdatedness. [9]
The game currently holds a score of 57/100 based on 14 reviews on Metacritic [10] and 60/100 on Gamerankings based on 19 reviews. [11]

It is the fourth game in the Monkey Island series, and the sequel to the 1997 videogame The Curse of Monkey Island. It is the first game in the series to use 3D graphics and the second game to use the GrimE engine, which was upgraded from its first use in Grim Fandango.
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura is a 2001 role-playing video game developed by Troika Games and published by Sierra On-Line for Microsoft Windows. The game's story takes place within a fantasy setting currently undergoing a transformation from its own Industrial Revolution, in which magic competes against technological gadgets, and focuses on the efforts of a zeppelin crash survivor to find out who attacked the vessel, ultimately discovering a plot by an ancient power to return to the world and cause chaos. The game, conducted from an isometric perspective and within an open world, offers players the opportunity to craft their protagonist with a variety of skills, including the option to be gifted in magic or use guns and gadgets to combat enemies, and complete quests in different ways.
Paperboy is an action game developed and published by Atari Games and released as an arcade video game in 1985. The player takes the role of a paperboy who delivers a fictional newspaper called The Daily Sun along a street on his bicycle. The arcade version of the game featured bike handlebars as the controller.

Rugrats in Paris: The Movie is a video game based on the 2000 animated movie of the same name. The game follows the adventures of the Rugrats in a European theme park. A console version of the game was released in 2000, for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and a handheld version for Game Boy Color. A version for Microsoft Windows was later released in 2001. The console version's gameplay is similar to Rugrats: Studio Tour, but Paris’ attractions sometimes have minigames too. The handheld gameplay is a side-scrolling platformer. The Windows version's gameplay is an adventure game in which the player must find Chuckie's Wawa Bear.
Europa 1400: The Guild is a 2002 simulation game developed by 4HEAD Studios and published by JoWooD Productions. It is the first installment in the Guild series, released in October 2002 for Windows. The game simulates medieval life combined with elements of real-time strategy, role-playing, and nonlinear gameplay using a 3D engine. Taking place in historic European cities, the player tries to guide a family dynasty to power and wealth, starting from one character of limited means. Players can choose from a total of a dozen professions.

Elite Force was ported to the PlayStation 2 by Pipe Dream Interactive and published by Majesco Entertainment on December 11, 2001.
The Walking Dead: Season Two is a 2013 episodic graphic adventure video game developed by Telltale Games based on the comic book series of the same name. It is the sequel to The Walking Dead, with the episodes released between December 2013 and August 2014. A retail collector's disc edition was released after the conclusion of the season. The game employs the same narrative structure as the first season, where player choice in one episode will have a permanent impact on future story elements. The player choices recorded in save files from the first season and the additional episode 400 Days carry over into the second season. Clementine, who was the player's main companion during the first season, returns as the main protagonist of Season Two.

Monopoly is a 1999 computer game based on the board game Monopoly, released for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh. Developed by Artech Studios, it was published by Hasbro Interactive, Inc. for Windows and MacSoft for the Mac. This title was one of many inspired by the property-dealing board game. It uses the same box art as a 1998 reissue of the 1995 Monopoly PC game. This game proved to be popular and was re-released as Monopoly New Edition on September 30, 2002, published by Infogrames. Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice Monsters is a dice-based tactics video game based on an original board game featured in the Yu-Gi-Oh! storyline. It was developed and published by Konami, and released on March 21, 2001, in Japan, February 11, 2003, in North America and July 11, 2003, in Europe for the Game Boy Advance. The gameplay revolves around battling opponents using magical dice placed on a board to create dungeons. It contains both a single-player campaign mode in which the player battles the AI, as well as a head-to-head multiplayer mode.
