Thijs Kraaijeveld (born 3 May 2007) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eredivisie club Feyenoord.

Club career

Kraaijeveld started playing for XerxesDZB, before he joined the Feyenoord Academy in 2016. On 16 June 2022, he signed his first professional contract at Feyenoord, to mid-2025. [1] For his performances for the under-17 team in February 2023, he was named Academy Player of the Month at Feyenoord. [2] Kraaijeveld suffered a heavy knee injury in 2024. However, at the end of the calendar year, he was included by the NOS on their list of 20 Dutch talents. [3] In January 2025, Kraaijeveld traveled with Feyenoord's first team to Marbella for a training camp. [4] [5] On 25 February 2025, his contract was extended with three years, signing to mid-2028. [6] Kraaijeveld made his professional debut on 31 August 2025, replacing Luciano Valente during a 0–4 league win over Sparta Rotterdam.

International career

On 5 May 2022, Kraaijeveld made his debut for the Netherlands under-15 team, in a 2–1 friendly debut to Germany. [7] He later went on to represent the Netherlands at every level until the under-19s. [8] [9] [10] [11]
