Thirukoilur division is a revenue division in the Viluppuram district of Tamil Nadu, India.
Tirukoilur or Tirukkoyilur also called Thirukkovalur or Kovalur. is a Town Panchayat in kallakurichi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Tirukkoyilur is located at 11.95°N 79.2°E. It has an average elevation of 73 metres (239 feet).
Viluppuram is one of the 35 districts that make up the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded on 30 September 1993, prior to which it was part of the Cuddalore district district.
