Thiruveer (born 23 July 1988) is an actor and director who works in Telugu theatre and cinema. [2] His notable film appearances include George Reddy (2019), Palasa 1978 (2020), Masooda (2022), and Pareshan (2023).

Personal life

Thiruveer was born in Mamidipally, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana to P. Venkat Reddy and Veeramma. He was brought up in Mamidipally. He did his Master of Performing Arts in Theatre Arts from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad.

Thiruveer tied knot to Kalpana Rao on 21 April 2024 in an intimate and private wedding ceremony at the holy Tirumala Temple. [3]

Career

He worked as a part-time radio jockey for AIR FM Rainbow 101.9 Hyderabad in 2012-2013 as RJ Thiru.

<i>Mayabazar</i> 1957 film by K. V. Reddy

Mayabazar is a 1957 Indian epic Hindu mythological film directed by K. V. Reddy. It was produced by Nagi Reddi and Chakrapani under their banner, Vijaya Productions. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, with a few differences in the cast. The story is an adaptation of the folk tale Sasirekha Parinayam, which is based on the characters of the epic Mahabharata. It revolves around the roles of Krishna and Ghatotkacha, as they try to reunite Arjuna's son Abhimanyu with his love, Balarama's daughter Sasirekha (Savitri). The Telugu version features Gummadi, Mukkamala, Ramana Reddy, and Relangi in supporting roles, with D. Balasubramaniam, R. Balasubramaniam, V. M. Ezhumalai, and K. A. Thangavelu playing those parts in the Tamil version.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Potti Sreeramulu</span> Indian activist

Potti Sreeramulu, was an Indian freedom fighter and revolutionary. Sreeramulu is revered as Amarajeevi in the Andhra region for his self-sacrifice for the Andhra cause. He became famous for undertaking a hunger strike for 56 days in support of having separate state for Andhra Pradesh; he died in the process. His death sparked public rioting and Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru declared the intent by the newly liberated nation to form Andhra State three days following the death of Sreeramulu. He contributed his life for the formation of a separate Telugu-speaking state from the dominant Tamil-speaking Madras presidency. His struggles led to the formation of separate Telugu-speaking state called "Andhra state".

Potti Veerayya was an Indian actor and comedian who predominantly acted in Telugu films. A dwarf by birth, he acted in more than 500 films, mostly in Telugu along with Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam films. <i>Palasa 1978</i> 2020 Indian film

Palasa 1978 is a 2020 Indian Telugu-language period action thriller film written and directed by Karuna Kumar in his directorial debut. The film stars Rakshith, Nakshatra, and Raghu Kunche who also composed the music. Prawin Yendamuri and Thiruveer play a supporting roles. The film is set in 1970s in Palasa, a town in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh and revolves around the incidents related to caste discrimination and untouchability. The film was listed in the Film Companion's "Top 7 Telugu films of 2020" chart.

Nandini Sidda Reddy is a teacher, writer, poet, songwriter and social activist from the state of Telangana, India. He is known for promoting Telugu culture. Several of his songs have been featured in Telugu language films. He was one of the leaders of the Telangana movement to make Telangana a separate state from Andhra Pradesh, which took place in 2014. He was the first Chairman of the Telangana Sahitya Akademi.

Surabhi Vani Devi is an Indian politician, academic and artist. She is the daughter of P. V. Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minister of India. She was elected as MLC in Telangana Legislative Council election from Mahbubnagar–Rangareddy–Hyderabad Graduates constituency in March 2021.
