"This Way" is the title track and third single from American musician Jewel's fourth studio album, This Way (2001).
Like the majority of her singles, Atlantic Records requested Jewel to re-record "This Way" with a more pop overtone. The "Album Version" of the song proved too acoustic-sounding and downtempo for mainstream radio. The "Radio Remix" contained more percussion, background vocals, and an uptempo guitar arrangement.
The song spent four weeks in Billboard's Adult Pop Song chart and peaked at #36 in August 2002. [1]
The song also appears in the soundtrack of the movie Enough, starring Jennifer Lopez. [2]
A music video featuring audio from the Radio Remix was shot for the song in 2002 and directed by Marcos Efron. Efron got the chance to direct the video through a competition run by Jewel's Soul City Cafe organization. [3] The music video never aired in North America, though it was played in South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

"Cruel Summer" is a song by English girl group Bananarama. It was written by Bananarama and Steve Jolley, Tony Swain, and produced by Jolley and Swain. Released in 1983, it was initially a stand-alone single but was subsequently included on their self-titled second album a year later. "Boys" is a song by American singer Britney Spears from her self-titled third studio album (2001). It was written and produced by Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams. A version of the song titled "The Co-Ed Remix" and featuring guest vocals from Williams was released as the fifth single from Britney on June 24, 2002. The new version also served as the second single from the soundtrack of Austin Powers in Goldmember. "Boys" is a R&B and hip hop song, including funk influences. "#1" is a song recorded by American rapper Nelly. It was released on August 29, 2001 as the lead single from the soundtrack to the 2001 film Training Day. The song was most known for igniting the feud between Nelly and KRS-One, for which KRS-One perceived it as a diss for being too similar to "I'm Still #1" by his group, Boogie Down Productions.

"Intuition" is a song by American singer Jewel from her fifth studio album, 0304 (2003). The song was written and produced by Jewel and Lester Mendez. It was released on April 7, 2003, as the album's lead single. Following the club success of "Serve the Ego", Jewel shifted to a more pop-oriented sound with the release of "Intuition". The song, which strays from her usual folk style with simple acoustic guitar instrumentation, starts off with a French accordion and then experiments with dance-oriented beats with subtle urban influences, using synthesizers. "Foolish Games" is a song by American singer-songwriter Jewel from her debut studio album, Pieces of You (1995). It was also the third single to be lifted from the Batman & Robin motion-picture soundtrack. Jewel re-recorded the single for the soundtrack to produce a more radio-friendly version, similar to her other singles "Who Will Save Your Soul" and "You Were Meant for Me". This version is shorter than the album version by one verse. The song details the frustration and agony of knowing that the intensity of one's love is not reciprocated by one's lover.
