Timothy Michael Dunn (born December 13,1966) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing District 25 since January 9,2023. He previously represented District 13 from 2018 to 2023. Dunn was appointed to replace expelled representative Don Shooter. Dunn is a farmer in Yuma,Arizona where his business,Dunn Grain Co. Inc.,specializes in selling grain seeds. [1] Dunn has suggested (in Congress) a pipeline transferring water from the Mississippi River to the Colorado River. [2]
The Quechan,or Yuma,are a Native American tribe who live on the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation on the lower Colorado River in Arizona and California just north of the Mexican border. It opened to freshman and sophomores for the 2007–08 school year. The school's mascot are the Hawks. The school is located on 7150 East 24th Street,which is home to many other schools in the Yuma County District,including Desert Mesa Elementary,Mary A. The Yuma Project is a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation project built to irrigate over 68,000 acres (280 km2) of land in Yuma County,Arizona and parts of Imperial County,California. The project is designed to exploit year-round farming conditions and water from the Colorado River. It consists of the Laguna Diversion Dam,pumping plants,a power plant,a 53-mile (85 km) system of canals,218 miles (351 km) of lateral canals,levees and drains. The project began in 1903 and the majority of the work was completed by 1915. It was the first dam and reclamation project on the Colorado River and workers had to overcome many natural and logistical obstacles to build and maintain it. The Laguna Diversion Dam was replaced by the Imperial Dam as the Project's water source between 1941 and 1948. Today,it serves 275 farms and over 94,000 people.

They remained the primary means of transportation of freight until the advent of the more economical railroads began cutting away at their business from 1878 when the first line entered Arizona Territory.
Charlene Fernandez is an American politician who was the Democratic leader of the Arizona House of Representatives from 2019 to 2021. She was first elected to the state House in 2014 and represents Southwestern Arizona,specifically,the majority of Yuma County,western Pima County,southwestern Maricopa County and southwestern Pinal County. She resigned on November 15,2021 to take a position at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Her son Brian Fernandez was appointed by the Yuma County,Arizona Board of Supervisors to succeed her in the Arizona House of Representatives.
