Time Is Money is the sixth solo studio album by American hip hop recording artist South Park Mexican. It was released on December 12, 2000 via Dope House Records and Universal Records. The album peaked at number 170 on the Billboard 200 and number 49 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
Carlos Coy, better known by his stage name South Park Mexican, is an American rapper, founder of Dope House Records, and convicted sex offender. His stage name is derived from the South Park neighborhood in Houston, Texas where he was raised.
Dope House Records is an independent record label based in Houston, Texas. It primarily releases hardcore, underground, and Southern hip hop.

Immature is an American R&B boy band, managed by record producer Chris Stokes. Its members include Marques "Batman" Houston, Jerome "Romeo" Jones, and Kelton "LDB" Kessee, all natives of Los Angeles, California, where the group was formed. The group released four albums under the Immature moniker including On Our Worst Behavior in 1992 which included former member Don "Half Pint" Santos, later replaced by Kessee, Playtyme Is Over in 1994, then We Got It in 1995 and finally in 1997 released the album, The Journey.

It was released on Dope House Records in 2002 shortly after SPM was incarcerated for statutory rape. Most of the tracks on this album are freestyle rapping. There was a "Chopped & Screwed" version of the album released on August 26, 2002. Coy stated that the entire album was recorded in two days. It was recorded at his house by his long-time friend and record producer Filero, who also added to the production of the album. It was mixed and mastered by James Hoover at Digital Services in Houston, Texas.

It was released on August 15, 2000 and this is the first of three albums to be released with Universal Records. The album debuted at number 57 on the Billboard 200 and number 26 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. It contains the Tony G-produced hit single "You Know My Name", which peaked at #99 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #31 on the Hot Rap Songs charts.

The CD consists of 17 songs, including the hit single "Mexican Heaven", and also contains a bonus disc of Coy's songs that have been on previous albums.
