Tinotenda Confidence Mutombodzi (born 21 December 1990) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He began his career as a leg-spin bowler,but now plays principally as a batsman. He made his One Day International debut against the West Indies in February 2013,and his T20 International debut in March 2013.
Mutombodzi was born in Harare. At the age of nine,he took up cricket and represented Zimbabwe's Under-13 and Under-16 teams. He was part of the Zimbabwe's Under-19 side in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and also Zimbabwe's Under-19 Side that toured New Zealand in 2010. His performances in the Under-19 side included scoring 43 against Pakistan Under-19 team in an unofficial ODI and also picking up 4/27 against the same side in the same series.
He was the highest scorer in Zimbabwe's 2014–15 season,scoring 630 runs for Mashonaland Eagles at an average of 39.37. He also made the only double-century of the season when he scored 230 against Mountaineers. He and Mark Pettini added 352 for the third wicket,breaking the Zimbabwe domestic all-wicket record. [1]
He was the leading wicket-taker in the 2017–18 Logan Cup for Mashonaland Eagles,with 21 dismissals in seven matches. [2] In September 2018,he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup tournament. [3]
In December 2020,he was selected to play for the Eagles in the 2020–21 Logan Cup. [4] [5]
Mutombodzi was named in the 24-man squad for the West Indian tour. [6] He replaced Prosper Utseya in the third ODI. He scored 13 runs until he was run out by Dwayne Bravo. He was the best bowler in the Match for Zimbabwe,picking up 2/35 in his ten overs with a good economy rate of 3.50 runs per over. He made his T20 debut on March 2,2013. It was not as good as his ODI debut,as he just made 2 runs and went for 0–20 in his two overs. In the next T20,he took his first T20 wickets,with figures of 2-28 from his four overs.
Mutombodzi was named in a 21-man squad against Bangladesh at home. [7] He played the first T20I,scoring 12 not out from 9 balls and had figures of 0–33 in 4 overs. He also was involved in two run outs during the match,which Zimbabwe won by 6 runs. [8]
In January 2020,Mutombodzi was added to Zimbabwe's Test squad for the second Test against Sri Lanka. [9] He made his Test debut for Zimbabwe,against Sri Lanka,on 27 January 2020. [10]
Brendan Ross Murray Taylor is a Zimbabwean former international cricketer and a former Zimbabwean captain,who played all formats of the game. Taylor is a right-handed batsman but is also an off spinner. In 2015,former Zimbabwe captain Alistair Campbell described Taylor as "our standout player for the last seven or eight years". He is known for his unorthodox shots especially his ability to play upper cuts over the third man and ramp shots with elegance and are often considered as his trademark signature shots. His style of play and ability to make substantial contribution with the bat often drew comparions with that of Andy Flower. He represented Zimbabwe in four ICC T20 World Cup tournaments in 2007,2010,2012 and 2014. Also,he represented Zimbabwe in three ICC ODI world cups as well in 2007,2011 and 2015.
Alexander Graeme Cremer is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who was the captain of the Zimbabwe national cricket team,between May 2016 and March 2018. He is a leg-spinner who got into the Zimbabwe side at the age of eighteen,following the exits of Paul Strang,Andy Whittall and Ray Price..

Kyle Malcolm Jarvis is a Zimbabwean former cricketer who represented Zimbabwe and played for Lancashire. The son of another former Zimbabwean international cricketer Malcolm Jarvis,he was educated at St John's College,Harare,where he excelled at rugby and cricket. Kyle was a key bowler for Zimbabwe in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and he also played for the Zimbabwe U-19 Rugby Team. He was coached by Zimbabwean veteran seamer Heath Streak. He was one of the fastest bowlers to have played for Zimbabwe bowling at 140 km/h very often during his early career. On 17 June 2021,Jarvis retired from all forms of cricket after battling a trio of illnesses earlier this year.
Tendai Larry Chatara is an international cricketer who represents the Zimbabwe national cricket team. A tall,wiry fast bowler with appreciable pace and the ability to move the ball away from the right-hander,Chatara has risen quickly to prominence since his first-class debut for Mountaineers in 2009. Though he was not good academically in school,he is one of the most talented pace prospects of his country.
Sikandar Raza Butt is a Pakistani-born Zimbabwean international cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls right arm off-spin and plays as an all-rounder. He made his international debut for Zimbabwe in May 2013.
Richmond Mutumbami is a Zimbabwean cricketer. A wicket-keeper batsman,Mutumbami made his first-class debut as a 17-year-old against Southerns in April 2007. Six years later,in April 2013,he made his international debut in a Test match against Bangladesh. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Pakistan in May 2015.
