Tippin' Point is an extended play by Canadian rock and country artist Dallas Smith. It was released in the United States on March 4, 2014 via Big Loud Mountain Records and Republic Nashville under the production of Joey Moi. [4] [5]

Contents

Tippin' Point was also released in Canada via 604 Records and Universal Music Canada. [6] The American version features "Nothing but Summer." in place of a live acoustic version of "Jumped Right In" [6]

Critical reception

Matt Bjorke of Roughstock gave the EP three and a half stars out of five, writing that "these songs are a strong presentation of Dallas Smith as a solo artist ready to break out as the next Country music star." Bjorke said that Smith has "an interesting and unique sound that is different than anyone in Country music and there’s more range in his voice than people may have expected" and felt that "there’s really not a song on the Tippin Point EP that couldn’t work on radio." The album was available for pre-order on iTunes after the release of the single "Wastin' Gas," which was released on October 28, 2014. In the United States, Lifted was instead released via Big Loud Mountain Records as a six-song EP containing only the material not released on previous EP, Tippin' Point, except for a live recording of the title track.

Emily Ann Roberts is an American country singer. She was a contestant on NBC's The Voice, as a member of team Blake Shelton, and she became a finalist on season nine. Songs she performed on the show charted on the Billboard magazine charts, where three songs were on the Hot Country Songs and one placed on the Hot Christian Songs chart. After the show, she finished school before focusing on her music career. In 2018 she released her first single "Stuck on Me and You," which charted in the top 40 on iTunes. On May 14, 2019 Emily Ann returned to The Voice stage to perform her newest single "Someday Dream". As of June 2019 she is signed to Starstruck Records. A full album was to be released sometime in 2019. Her debut album, Can't Hide Country, will be released on September 22, 2023.
