Geography

Tirthpuri is situated on the southern bank of a local river, about 45 kilometres south of the district seat Jalna and 12 kilometres southwest of the subdistrict seat Ghansawangi. The village is connected to Ambad-Tirthpuri Road and Kandari-Ambad Road. Its average elevation is at 439 metres above the sea level. [2]
