Toby Alexander Radford (born 3 December 1971 Caerphilly,Glamorgan,Wales) is a Welsh cricket coach,former first-class cricketer and cricket administrator.
The son of a Welsh journalist Brian Radford,Radford was born in Caerphilly,Glamorgan,and represented Middlesex (1993-1995),Sussex (1996-1997) and Berkshire (1999) as a right-handed opening batsman and an occasional off-spinner in 14 first-class matches and six List A matches. He also played for England in six Youth Tests with a personal best of 79 against New Zealand in Auckland.
Upon leaving first-class cricket,he played two full seasons for Berkshire and served the Berkshire Cricket Board as its Cricket Development Officer. After a successful spell as Director of the Middlesex Cricket Academy at Finchley,he was appointed 1st XI Coach by Middlesex on 7 November 2007. [1] [2] The highlight of his tenure was when Middlesex won the 2008 Twenty20 Cup.
In addition to winning the Twenty20 Cup,Radford won the Second Eleven Trophy when in charge of that team,gained promotion to the Pro40 League in his first season with the First Eleven and is recognised as having resurrected England captain Andrew Strauss' international batting career.
Radford then moved on to an elite specialist batting coach,working primarily with the ECB at their training headquarters in Loughborough.
After working for the West Indies in Barbados,Radford was appointed Head Coach at Glamorgan County Cricket Club in October 2013, [3] taking over from Matthew Mott. He left after two years in the role on 30 December 2015. [4]

The England cricket team represents England and Wales in international cricket. Robert Damien Bale Croft MBE is a former Welsh cricketer who played international cricket for England. He is an off-spin bowler who played for Glamorgan and captained the county from 2003 to 2006. He retired from first class cricket at the end of the 2012 season,having played county cricket for 23 seasons. He commentates on cricket occasionally for Sky Sports.

Glamorgan County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan. Founded in 1888,Glamorgan held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship before the First World War. In 1921,the club joined the County Championship and the team was elevated to first-class status,subsequently playing in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England and Wales.

Owais Alam Shah is a former England cricketer. A middle-order batsman,he played for Middlesex from 1995 to 2010 and Essex from 2011 to 2013 before announcing his retirement from first-class cricket. He played Twenty20 cricket for Hampshire in 2014 and 2015. He also represented England in all forms of the game.

Thomas William Cartwright was an English cricketer. Playing largely for Somerset and Warwickshire,he took over 1,600 wickets as a medium-pace bowler,though he began his career as a top-order batsman,and was capable enough with the bat to score seven hundreds including a double-century. James William Arthur Taylor is an English former cricketer who played for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm leg break bowler,Taylor made his debut in first-class cricket in 2008 for Leicestershire and made major impressions in his first county seasons. He is noted as being a fine fielder in the covers. He became the youngest Leicestershire one-day centurion and first-class double centurion. In 2009,Taylor also became the youngest player in Leicestershire's history to score 1,000 championship runs in a season.
William Douglas Slade was a Welsh cricketer. Slade was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at Briton Ferry,Glamorgan.
The 2014 season marked Glamorgan County Cricket Club's 127th year of existence and its 93rd as a first-class cricket county. In 2014,Glamorgan played in the Second Division of the County Championship,Group B of the 50-over Royal London One-Day Cup and the South Group of the NatWest t20 Blast. It was the first season in charge for head coach Toby Radford. The on-field captains were Mark Wallace for the County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup,and Jim Allenby for the NatWest t20 Blast. Unlike other counties,Glamorgan competed in limited-overs cricket without a nickname for the second year in a row.
The 2017 English cricket season was the 118th in which the County Championship had been an official competition. The season,which began on 28 March and ended on 29 September,featured two global one-day competitions played in England and Wales,the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup. England Women's team won the World Cup,defeating India in the final at Lord's. Pakistan beat India in the Champions Trophy final.
The 2022 season was Glamorgan County Cricket Club's 135th year in existence and their 101st as a first-class cricket county. They finished third in the Second Division of the County Championship,nine points behind second-placed Middlesex;they also finished fourth in Group B of the Royal London One-Day Cup,a point off the quarter-final qualification places,and sixth in the South Group of the 2022 T20 Blast,six points off the quarter-final places. It was the team's third season with Matthew Maynard as head coach and their first with David Lloyd as captain. The team's overseas players were Australians Marnus Labuschagne and Michael Neser,and South African Colin Ingram,while Shubman Gill and Ajaz Patel were brought in during the season. Glamorgan played two 50-over matches at The Gnoll in Neath,their first matches there for 27 years,but for the third season in a row,they did not play any matches at Penrhyn Avenue in Rhos-on-Sea.
