Together (Italian : Insieme) is a Christian-democratic political party in Italy.

History

The party was founded on 4 October 2020 by the economist Stefano Zamagni, President of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences and author of a Manifesto launched in 2019. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] On 4 July 2021, Eleonora Mosti, Giancarlo Infante and Maurizio Cotta were elected as Secretaries of the party. [7] For the 2022 Italian local elections, the party ran at Lucca and Gorizia, where Together won three seats in the Municipal Council, and one seat in the Genoan Municipal Council. [8] [9]

Italexit for Italy, usually referred to simply as Italexit, is a populist, sovereignist, and hard Eurosceptic political party in Italy, which advocates the country's exit from the eurozone and the European Union. Its founder is Gianluigi Paragone, a former member of the Senate of the Republic and TV journalist. Paragone and Italexit oppose Italy's membership in NATO. Although the party rejects a classification on the political spectrum and includes some left-wing positions, it is considered right-wing due to Paragone's profile. Italexit was founded in 2020 after Paragone was expelled from the Five Star Movement (M5S). Between 2020 and 2022, Italexit was joined by several members of the Italian Parliament, mainly from the M5S and the League (Lega). Paragone had been a supporter of the M5S–Lega government, which was known as the Government of Change, and opposed the M5S government with the Democratic Party (PD).

Together for the Future was a centrist political party in Italy, which for all of its existence was active solely as a parliamentary group. Its founder and leader was Luigi Di Maio. All of its parliamentary members were elected for the Five Star Movement (M5S) in the 2018 Italian general election but exited from the party in June 2022, when the M5S's former leader Di Maio decided to form his own political group, following tensions with M5S leader Giuseppe Conte.
