Tolgahan Acar (born 4 June 1986) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the TFF Third League side Adana 1954 FK. He has been capped at youth level for the U-18, U-19 and U-20 Turkey squads. [1]
Acar was born in Adana. He attended and played football for the Çukurova Üniversitesi team. He moved to Adanaspor in 2002. In his first stint at the club, Acar was capped twice, spending the brunt of his time with the youth team. Gaziantepspor transferred him in 2004, but he did not feature for the club regularly. [1]
Instead, Acar spent most of his time at the club either with the youth team or on loan at Adanaspor. Adanaspor transferred him at the beginning of the 2009 season. Acar was the starting goalkeeper for the Toros Kaplanları, playing in 32 matches in the 2009–10 season. [1]

Adana Demirspor Kulübü is a multi-sports club based in Adana, Turkey. The football department is the most popular department which secured 4th place at the 2022–23 Süper Lig and qualified for European competitions for the first time in their history. The club also competes in rowing, table tennis, taekwondo and volleyball. Founded by railway workers of Turkish State Railways (TCDD) in 1940, The football team's success at the Adana League and the water polo team's unbeaten National League titles in the club's first three decades built a large worker fan base in the city. Some supporters who are unhappy with the management of the club, founded Adanaspor in 1954 and competition among the two clubs for the citywide support and domination since then, created one of the fiercest rivalries of Turkish football which continues to this day as the Adana derby. From the 1970s to the late 2010s, the club had less success than their archrival, did not win a major title and had not participated in any European competitions, though it continued to gain wider support than Adanaspor and became one of the most supported clubs in Turkey. The club's recent success at the Super Lig and qualification for the UEFA Conference League and Adanaspor's decline is widening the gap between two clubs further in terms of fan support and club value.

Mersin İdmanyurdu Sports Club; located in Mersin, east Mediterranean coast of Turkey in 2009–10. Mersin İdmanyurdu football team has finished 2008–09 season in second place in TFF Second League Promotion Group and promoted to 2009–10 TFF First League. This was the second promotion of the team and MİY became the first team that promoted to TFF First League twice. After formation of the league in 2001, MİY became second team which relegated and then promoted again, after Adanaspor (the third became Çanakkale Dardanelspor after promotion play-offs in 2008–09 season. Arif Peçenek was a Turkish football player and manager. Born in Ankara, he began his club football career with the capital club Ankara Güneşspor in 1976. Prosperous goalkeeper continued to play respectively in Ankara Şekerspor, MKE Ankaragücü, İstanbulspor and Adana Demirspor until his retirement in 1995. He successfully inserts 23 national team caps. Peçenek who is associated with MKE Ankaragücü and perceived as one of the greatest players in the club's history inserts more than 200 caps for this club. With 192 first division inserts Peçenek is in the list of players with most premier league inserts for MKE Ankaragücü in 13th place. After ending his football career, he moved into coaching specialist. He assisted in Vanspor, Adanaspor and again Vanspor the head coach Ali Osman Renklibay as an assistant coach. In 1999/2000 season Peçenek took over Türk Telekomspor as his first head coaching experience. He supervised subsequently Körfez Belediyespor, Ankara Şekerspor and Kızılcahamam Belediyespor. From 2005 to 2010, he held the Youth Academy Development Coordinator with the MKE Ankaragücü. In November 2012, he was introduced for the TKI Tavşanlı Linyitspor. He died on 29 January 2013 due to a heart attack in Ankara.
