Thomas Carter, III (born September 5, 1972) is a former American football cornerback who played in the National Football League from 1993 to 2001. The 17th overall draft pick in the first round of the 1993 NFL Draft, Carter played nine seasons for the Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, and Cincinnati Bengals.Carter played quarterback at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, and accepted a scholarship to play college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a three-year starter at the free safety position. He currently works for the NFL Players Association.
Carter has four children: Alex, Madison, Cameron, and Peyton. Cameron died of Type 1 diabetes at age 14 on February 21, 2012.Alex Carter was named Virginia's 2011 Gatorade Player of the Year, and was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions after a standout career at Stanford. Madison is currently a news reporter for WVIR-TV NBC29 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Edward Thomas McCaffrey, Jr. is an American football coach and former wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for thirteen seasons. McCaffrey played college football for Stanford University and earned first-team All-American honors. The New York Giants chose him in the third round of the 1991 NFL Draft. He also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. He served as the head coach of the Northern Colorado Bears football team from 2020–2022.
Tobin Bo Gunnar Gerhart is a former American football running back. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football for Stanford University, and was a unanimous All-American. In 2009 Gerhart won the Doak Walker Award and was the runner-up for the 2009 Heisman Trophy. He received 1,276 points in the Heisman voting, coming in second to Mark Ingram II, who received 1,304 points; the 28-point margin was the closest vote in Heisman history. Gerhart had a breakout senior season in 2009, leading all running backs in the nation in rushing yards, touchdowns, and points scored, and setting several Pac-10 and school records. He held the Stanford record for most rushing yards in a season (1,871) until Christian McCaffrey broke it in 2015, and still holds Cardinal records for touchdowns in a season (28) and most touchdowns in a career (44).

John Terrence Lynch Jr. is an American professional football executive and former player who is the general manager of the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played in the NFL as a strong safety for 15 seasons, primarily with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A nine-time Pro Bowl selection, Lynch earned a Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
